That looks real to me. My husband bought me a VW bag last Saturday. It's a black patent one with a gold orb on the front and if you look at the photos you'll see that the orb on the rivets look the same as yours, as does the zip. The inside gold plaque is the only thing that looks different. Yours says London and mine says Italy and Genuine Leather - but at the end of the day I'm not an expert and have only owned 1!

This is a pic of an inside plaque from a genuine bag saying London - it looks slightly different to yours but I have no idea if that means yours is fake or genuine (sorry).

Only way to know for definite is to take it to a Westwood store. VW is faked an awful lot so unless your friend can say for definite she bought it from an authorised stockist I would be incredibly wary

Can someone help me to check vivienne westwood 'bag is authentic or fake? i'm doub about zip don't have opti brand.and vivienne word which the first char of "i" don't have spot above.but i'm not sure so i would like ask expert opinion.

I think this may be fake. There is meant to be a dot above the first i and I've never seen VW bag hardware tarnish and flake the way that zip pull has. Have you actually bought this bag? It's very worn and grubby looking

I bought from web of Thailand.Seller confirm that sure authentic .But I have just study this brand and think this bag may be fake also.

I hate to bring up old threads...but this bag is a fake. Westwood inside tags are always the zips with the empty-ring on one end. The hardware (zips) look cheap and chunky. Sorry...

Hi,

sorry to bring up old threads, but this bag is a fake. I can't see the inside zips but they need to be the one with an empty-ring on one end. The seams I can see are not properly finished, all authetic bags have properly finished seawn in seams. The zips appear to the the cheap fake ones that appear on every fake bag i've ever seen. And on my fake bag, they had similar wear.
