Honestly - I would ask her for more current pics - I could be WRONG - but, some of her pics I swear I have seen before - and all of her pics are shot different - could be a sign they are not all her photos. This would concern me as you don't know which photos are of the actual bag and which photos are "borrowed".

I was thinking the same thing, which is why I didn't want to comment yes or no either way ... it is very strange to take pics that look like they're in different places.

^^
Thanks!

Yeah, her first pic. looks just like other ones on Ebay. I'm not sure who has the original. I e-mailed her for more info but she said the bag was a gift and nothing else, so I'm going to pass. I just wasn't comfortable.

How about these other two bags though? Also, I haven't seen the bags in person since they came out, but I really loved them then.

This one looks good to me, just not sure about the style.

Ok - this is just my opinion - but, I do not believe the 2nd one is authentic. My reason: I own a TW leather jacket and the leather is very distinct. The leather on the 2nd bag does NOT look like TW leather. I would not bid on this bag at all.

The first bag: I have bought bags from Barney's CoOp (where TW is sold) and they (barney's) do not usually put tags on the outside of their bags. The bags on the floor are for display only, when you go to buy a bag they bring one out from the back...the bags from the back don't usually have the tags on them like that - TW bags are hard to "authenticate" unless you can really trust the seller....I think the pics of the gray oxford are hard to see and don't really tell me anything about the bag.

Good points. What a pain sometimes Ebay is. Then again I think I should be able to get a good price there if i'm lucky. Too bad Barney's doesn't carry TW anymore though!!

I have serious doubts about this clutch I received. I can include real pics tomorrow morning, but am charging my camera at the moment.

I got it for a low price and the seller offers a full refund, so I plan to ship it right back if my suspicions are confirmed.

The leather feels heavy and nicely distressed. The skull is also very heavy. The inside lining doesn't feel ultra luxurious or what I think silk usually feels like, but it doesn't have a fake sheen to it either, which I know is a giveaway.

The metal plate on the back is a dark gunmetal and I read that fakes are usually done in the traditional silver color. The black Thomas Wylde hang tag seems correct, but it also has a little triangular-shaped piece of black leather hanging with it. That seems like a redflag to me, but I could be overanalyzing. Almost like you see on cheap leather bags and the leather hanging piece that sys 100% genuine leather. This doesn't say that, but reminds me of that.

Also, I thought I read that there should be some kind of tag inside that has serial numbers on it, but that is not present anywhere in this clutch lining.

The seller sold two other of this same clutch for considerably more than I paid and there have been no complaints about those or inauthenticity of his items, but he seems to sell a lot of the same items (clothing), but in various sizes.

Can anyone tell me if this is a real Thomas Wylde circus bag. Thanks for the help.

Can anyone help? This bag was not cheap but much cheaper than the original price. I have seen alot of guidelines on how to spot a fake and this one seems pretty authentic. If anyone knows for sure and can help it would be greatly appreciated
