I want this Thomas Wylde Ptah scorpion bag on eBay, item
200330421019pics.ebaystatic.com/aw/pics/globalAssets/rtCurve.gif
Seller says the bag was a gift from parents when I inquired as to authenticity, she believes it is the real thing but doesn't wish to question. What does everyone else think...real or fake?

Im not comfy with this seller. You can not bulk buy Thomas Wylde, finding one authentic bag is hard enough....they are not mass produced like some other brands. Find out where these were purchased? Im thinking maybe china?

Thanks in advance![/quote]

^^ Yeah, I was a little iffy on those. Most of the Thomas Wylde bags seem to be fake on ebay. I ended up getting a barolo clutch from the last Hautelook sale! :woohoo: It's arriving today!

Hi, can you tell me how you know the bag is a fake, what I should be looking for? I'd love to get one of these eventually, and couldn't afford retail, so eBay is my only hope, and any help in recognizing the fakes from the real thing would be appreciated...

I'm no expert, but if the first one (the brown one) is a fake then it's an exceptionally good fake.

I own that TW bag in black, and even the leather finish looks right to me.
Having said that, these bags are faked A LOT.

Good luck
