No 1 - can't tell anything much from these carppy photos

No 2 - probably authentic but what a mess!!! Has not been handled with care.

can you give me the link to the thread you are referring to? is there a list of online sellers that sell fake Prada bags? seems ebay is flooded with them. im sure tons of online sellers like this modaqueen claim 100% auth. but are totally fake bags.

Hi Prada Psycho,

May I know the reasons as to why it is fake? I was just about to make payment when I saw this message. Could you please point out to me why the bag is a fake?

Thanks, you might just save my life.

Time for the sermon.

We are constantly asked on this thread how we can tell a bag (or whatever) is fake, what details give it away. We don't answer those questions because among other things, we don't like giving scammers tips on how to improve their trash.

I do this by choice, so I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining, but just on one clutch alone, I had to research multiple online sites, save photos on my computer so I can set them side by side and closely examine even the most minute detail. It's time consuming and it's not easy, folks!!!

I also am a Prada collector, though I will often go to Prada boutiques for the specific purpose to very closely examine the bags for each new season. I need to do that to look for details on authentic bags so I can bring it back here and hopefully provide accurate authentications.

Some items only take a glance, but more and more it's a fine art to discriminate fake from authentic.

This is why I say over and over that shopping on eBay or online shops other than reputable retailers is not for the uninitiated.

Your only option is to report the listing to eBay using the Report Item link or to pay for a professional authentication service to provide a letter to Paypal so you're off the hook.

I've sent an email to the seller saying I won't buy a fake bag and she's asking me how it's fake. Could you provide me with some specific examples or should I pay to have someone "officially" authenticate it? Is the onus on me to prove it's a fake or on her to prove it's authentic? I'm new to buying designer bags online and am feeling stupid about this whole mess:(
