I bought this MCM briefcase at a thrift store. I am noticing that many come with a serial number. Do all MCM come with serial numbers and do they ever say made in "Germany"?

Wow! I just noticed that it says something in the suede. MCM Handmade something...can't make out what it says. If you can help, thanks!

The embossing on the leather patch inside the bag is poorly done... It is not clear & the needle work is poorly done as well. MCM handbags comes with leather patch or brass plate that says MCM Designed by Michael Cromer Handmade inside the bag & this one doesn't!

Several MCM handbags that I own has leather patch with diamond embossed on 4 corners of the patch & I have the one with brass plate inside the bag with the logo embossed on it with Designed by Michael Cromer(signature type) embossed on it as well.

The lock that came with the bag was corroded & doesn't fit smoothly & I had to jab the key in hard for it to work & all the zippers are really stiff on this bag...*

I' m trying to see if this MCM crossbody is authentic.Its being sold on site called POSHMARK,her name on the site is alina_lieuAttachment 2179320.The serial number is E3063.PLEASE assist me,before I make purchase Wednesday.Nobody informed if it was actually authentic.You just have other post similar to mines.

Hi, I looked at the website and it could be ok. MCM is a Korean brand now and the website was registered 2009 (see reg data below). The site was apparently relaunched 2013 though. The drawback I see they only use gmail for contact and it's lacking info about the company, return policy, etc.

I posted at least 2 threads inquiring about the Authenticity of a MCM & Gucci tote.Nobody has responded with an actual reply.I just keep getting email with link from other people.Asking about the authenticity of there bags.But there questions are being responded to.I see my thread and its no response in,or following it.I see other people threads,and there answer is either in the same thread or following right after or a few threads beneath.Help me out here,I NEED AN ANSWER NOT A ALMOST SIMILAR STORY.O

Hi everyone, I am in love with MCM bags since I bought my very first MCM bag during my holiday in Korea this April. Now, I'm hooked with MCM bags! MCM bags are SO gorgeous!

I have just bought 2 vintage MCM bags from the mid 90s on eBay. Both of these bags were made in Germany (I understand that MCM bags are now made in Korea). Like most of you I would like to confirm the authencity of the bags.

Fortunately, I found out that "Carol Diva" is able to authenticate vintage MCM bags. Her website is "www.caroldiva.com". Hope this helps. ;)
