I had a look at the link you posted on the purse forum and thought I drop you a note regarding the bag. It looks like the real thing to me. I own a MCM bag of the same color but a different design but the markings/colour/logo etc. look identical. I am only unsure about the side view as mine does not have the inverted (print) section. But I am confident this is the real deal. However, i am not an expert and am just comparing with mine which was bought from the boutique in Germany many years ago. i hope this is of some help to you. Enjoy your bag, they last forever! I do hope you manage to get the white marks off and am sure a good fabric cleaner will do the trick. Personally, i use baby wipes to clean the inside fabric part of my bags and it does help. Plain white fragrance free wipes, that is. Good luck

Hi, My Mom had purchased this vintage MCM handbag on ebay. After examining the handbag we think that it could possibly be a fake...Can anyone tell me if they agree or if they believe that it is indeed authentic. Thanks a ton

Hi, this website could be ok but it seems they are missing basic info like secure online payment etc, they talk about paypal and bank transfer which is bad. The return policy in German language is complicated. They say they have a brick and mortar store but no info about this. I'd stay away.

I couldn't find this style, perhaps it's older? MCM are sold at Saks, Bloomingdales, Harrods, Forzieri etc.
