Help!! I have e-mailed the seller twice and got no response, then today, don't know what I was thinking, I placed a bid.....last I checked there was 40 minutes left and I am the high bidder...I'm hoping I don't win....so I emailed the the seller one more time and asked about the tag inside.....I told her I emailed her twice before and had not gotten any response from her and now I'm uncomfortable....I wasn't trying to be rude to her, but she should at least respond.......

I win the auction, what should I do? :shrugs:

Don't panic. If you win the auction, pay with a credit card through paypal. Do NOT pay with a paypal balance. Make sure the seller gives you tracking info. When you receive the bag, look and see if it's made in Turkey. Remember that the tag is sometimes difficult to find on these bags. You will have to take the inside zippered pocket and turn it completely inside out.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, Lori.....we had to leave th house right after I posted my message. I just checked the auction and I must have lost it in the last minutes by $2.50. I wouldn't have been as concerned if the seller would have at least responded....Thanks so much for your help! I've learned my lesson! It probably is authentic, but a response would have been nice........Have a great weekend! :sweatdrop:

I could be totally wrong, but I don't ever recall seeing this color in the Giselle.

Please ask the seller for a pic of the origin tag. Older Luellas were made in Turkey. The origin tag should be inside the zippered pocket. The seller will probably have to turn the pocket completely inside out to see it because it's very small.

ohhh thank you! I'm going to bookmark that site- sometimes it's hard to dig thru tons of feedback. I'm realizing I have to be extremely careful when purchasing a Giselle since they were so faked! Is there anywhere I can go to see what colors he Gisele was actually made in years ago?

I remember them being lavender, pink, and green when they first came out. Your best bet, however, is making sure you see the tag that says "Made in Turkey." That's where all her older bags were made. If you get one of those, it's real.

The interior zipper pull is wrong. I would not bid on this one. I have owned 8 Luellas and they have all had multiple rings attached to the zipper pull.

I have owned Giseles in a bright pink, lemon, dark green, and a Baby Gisele in suede khaki. The other colors I remember are medium brown, red, purple, black, an orange color, oxblood in tooled and regular. Also a very pretty multicolor western design and a scalloped/lacy trim design in light pink and metallic gold. I'm sure there are more!

I just sold the last of mine because I was using other bags, but I am still impressed with the quality of Luellas. I still have all my detail shots for reference if needed here.

Samantha- is it true that they are just too heavy and bulky? Never seen one IRL- but I'm so enamored with them I HAVE to have one!

They are on the heavy side but that never bothered me. When I carried the Giseles I did not find them to be bulky either. I think the style looks best worn with jeans or pants though. I saw a girl carrying one wearing a short skirt and the proportions looked all wrong.

I'll answer this too ... in all honesty I had 3 of them and I sold all of them because they were too heavy for me. But the smallest size might be OK -- I had the bigger ones.
