My wife received a used Kate Spade bag as a gift, but she believes that it may be a knock-off. Please let me know if she is right or not. If you need additional info or pics - just let me know. Hopefully I'm posting this correctly...

Please authenticate this Kate Spade Mini Reiley which I purchased at Goodwill. It was sold as new. The bag is small and still tight so I cannot get a photo of the interior tags. So I understand if you cannot authenticate. Thank you.

Can someone please help me authenticate this bag I bought from Amazon? I’m suspicious because all the pictures I’ve seen not show that this colour has a cream lining and this bag has a red lining.

Inside it says made in Vietnam and has the letters MRKI on the black label tab.

Hello everyone! Can someone please help me authenticate this bag? I picked it up at the thrift store, and to be honest I didn’t even see the Kate Spade logo on it at first, I just like the pattern. I’m not familiar with the brand, so I tried finding the style online but came up empty. There are some details that make me suspect it to be counterfeit, and I did try figuring it out for myself but the internet is full of conflicting information and I just don’t know what’s reliable.

It’s not a big loss if it’s not authentic, but I don’t want to be walking around with a counterfeit product! I’m happy to take additional photos if needed.

Sorry, it's fake.

If you don't want to carry a fake, you can pry of the fake KS plaque (held on by staple-like prongs) and it'll have no brand markings. (It can't be sold with a bogus marking but if the plaque is removed, the bag is a plain generic unbranded bag, which is was before the fakers added the logo.)

Genuine KS bags don't have plaques that are attached and (easily) removable.

Hello - can you authenticate this Kate Spade Sawyer Street Margareta Tote? The style tag is WKRU3743 (but I can't find this style on the internet??) and the material is listed as "100% Cow Leather" but the feels more like fake vinyl/pleather (see pics). Thank-you for your help!

I found this bag in a storage unit I bought. I found the style online however I can't find anything about the "sample" tag or this color. I was hoping someone could help. Sorry if the pics aren't great, it was hard to get my phone in the bag to get a picture of the tag.
