Hi,

I'm new to the Juicy forum. I usually hang out in Coach. I recently sold a lot of 4 JC items on ebay and the buyer's friend insists that the cosmetic purse is fake. She has given a list of reasons. As I know nothing about JC I just want to check here before I give the buyer a refund, have it returned and destroy it.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks very much LMC. I will let the buyer know and hope that it convinces her.


Her friend had the following reasons for thinking it was fake, so I'd be interested to know how accurate these observations are.


"...the pink colour of the leather is light and the texture is different to the purses .. The tag inside and the lining inside is not what you would see in a juicy bag and also the colour of the hardware is shiny silver whereas juicy hardware is a gold or a copper colour .."

Sorry I haven't been on.

1. They do colored leather trim all the time and they use silver hardware alot but sometimes use gold. It really depends on the style. The tag is authentic it's an older juicy bag that was made in 07 I still have my receipt and price tag that I'll be willing to show because I know yours is authentic!

Hey guys! I really need your help!

I just purchased this charm off of ebay and I think I got a fake :(

Juicy Couture Limited Edition Easter Egg w/Yorkie Charm
Style #YJRU1682

I can't post pictures at the moment, but do all the Easter egg charms come with the "Limited Edition 2008" gold tag? If they do, then mine does not :( It's also very flimsy, in which it does not close tightly. If it is a fakes, it's a really good one. Will post pics tomorrow, but I just want to know if they all come with that LE tag. Thanks!

Hard to judge from the one photo, more photos including a photo of the inside would help.
Mine does have the LE 2008 tag, but if this one came from the outlet it may have been one of the ones made for the outlet and it wouldn't have the LE tag.
If it doesn't close correctly, or stay closed, I'd return it for that reason alone. It's very annoying to have the charms opening whenever they want, especially when they are being worn.
