So do older Mahalas not have a leather tab on the bottom front zipper or the back zipper?? I saw one like this but thought it must be faulty because it only had a leather tab on the top front zipper. Is this not the case??

That is correct.Older Mahalas do not have leather tabs on all zippers. It is not a deffect just a change in design from one season to the next.

I think this may have been discussed before, but can someone authenticate this bag? I will try to do a link, but sometimes I can't get it to work. It is e-bay item #110152327560.

How about this one? E-bay item 320142539267. I'm sorry I still don't know how to add a link. I asked the seller if she had a better pic of the lilac nameplate and she said no...that I could make the pic she had larger on my computer, but it just looks blurry when I try. She said to look at her feedback, that she sells only high end bags.
Wow...all I asked for was one picture.

Sorry, not close enough for me to be able to see details, but if she is not willing to comply with a request to give you a piece of mind:confused1:
