The only reason I asked was there was an auction on ebay (seller claimed to be a pfer and would never ever sell a fake) I asked for a picture of the key tag stud and she claimed all older models were blank.

My oldest Choo is 05 and just wondered if they have ever been blank.

I recently bought a JC Tulita from ebay. The seller claimed that it is authentic and it is an older version. The key tab does NOT have the Jimmy Choo imprinted and the lining is this tough suede instead of the soft moleskin. I tried to go through paypal and asked for my money back but so far nothing has been done. Because I used my Amex to pay, I went through Amex to complain and got my money back very promptly. Thank goodness I did not pay much for the bag. NEVER heard from the seller again. BTW, the seller has TONS of positive feedback!!!

Looks very questionable:tdown: Photos not close or clear enoungh. 2 FB and only been selling a short time. The gold closure lock looks like font is in wrong place too.

Thanks Robynbenz! I asked if she had a pic of the lilac nameplate and she said no, but it was guaranteed to be auth or money back(all in caps). Someone bought it, glad it wasn't me!

My oldest Choos don't have the key tag stud. I have had them about 5 years.

I would say 1 & 2 are fakes, the 3rd one might be authentic, but I would recommend having someone else authenticate it for sure. I am not as experienced with this bag and I don't want to give you poor advice.

How can you tell?
I just read the feedback of the seller for the 3rd one and she has sold more than 5 of the same bag already! is that a bad sign??
Here's one more for you experts

This one is a fake for sure. If you look at the lilac tag, the font is wrong as well as the alignment of the made in Italy tag. As for the one I mentioned previously, selling numerous identical bags are typically a sign to watch for. I did not look at that, as I figure most of the potential buyers will review that prior to posting. Sorry.

Boy, I am not sure what to make of this bag. The inside looks good and from the JC name plate in front, it looks good, but what I am worried about is the statement of it being a new Fall 2007 bag. I went through my 2007 Fall/Winter book as well as the JC site and it does not show any Red Mahalas being released for fall. I think we need other opinions before I say yes. Sorry....

Robyn and Samantha - thank you for looking at the link :)

the seller has NO feedback as a seller, so throwing that in the mix too -- I don't feel that good about this one.

I saw that red one, too. It sure looks good, but like you all said, the sellers statements are kind of odd. She wants too much for it to take a chance.
