Can anyone authenticate? I would like some reassurance before my 30 days is up for ebay/ paypal protection. Unfortunately I don't have a cartier within 700 miles of me to take it in.

I searched for a format for asking a question, and didn't find one. If there is one, I apologize. I couldn't find information on the sweep of the second hand for an Hermes Cape Cod GM. I have an automatic and the sweep is - well - sweeping. I just looked at a battery based watch and the second hand is jumping every 5 seconds. Seems wrong to me, but I don't know. My PM doesn't have a second hand, so I am in the dark. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much.

If the battery watch is jumping every 5 seconds, it usually means that the battery is in need of changing..
