I am willing to pay the $200 fee which they said it would cost. I tried 2 T&Cs and both told me the same thing. Only the original purchaser can order and get a valuation. I have a copy of the original valuation, but it has the original purchaser's name whited-out.

Hi Jessivana,

I have sold Tag Heuer watches through a retail company I used to work for and I have an opinion for you on each of these watches.

Firstly, the Aquaracer, even though the pictures are blurry it seems to be dead on to the original and the addition of the warranty, instructions and card do sway me in the direction that it is an original. Have a look at this video from a reputable seller (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-EhbIGwea0) and you can see that the case back and stickers have the same markings as well as the code WAP1112 which is correct for this model.

This is the quartz version in stainless steel with a blue face.

The second watch, the Tag Heuer Formula 1 also seems to check out. The warranty card which is filled out shows the correct model number for that watch and the markings look correct. The Photos are also of good quality and the proportions of the watch look correct.

Just making sure that you know this watch has a khaki dial as it is not that easy to see in the photos.

Buying watches online is tricky, but have a chat to the seller and try to find out if they are genuine and will back the sale. Also a good way to safeguard yourself is to pay with paypal as they will back you up if something you purchase is not authentic as described.

Best of luck,
Vaughan
thank you, mr! you've been really helpful!

have a great weekend

Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone familiar with Tiffany could help me validate this item I just received? I have the pictures in this thread. It's a Diana Courage charm from several years ago that's been discontinued now. The pouch that I received with this item seemed quite different (lower standards) than my previous pouches, which raised some concern for me. But it might just be my over-thinking, so hopefully someone can help me out. =)

Appreciate it so much! I'd been looking forward to this so I really hope I do not have to return it under these circumstances.

I've just checked all my Tiffany's pouches and non of them has made in china tag. They are slightly different but no tag inside. I've checked old and new pouches. I don't have this charm so can't tell if it's real or not. If I were you I would take it to Tiffany for cleaning- they don't authenticate items but will refuse to service it if it's a fake one. But if you feel unsure about it- send it back. You won't be happy and it will always bother you, IMO

I think you should take it to cartier and ask them to screw it on you.... say it was a gift and you want to make sure it is real. My guess is that they will take a look at it and tell you right away if it is real or not. they can also type in the number on the bracelet to verify for you.... if they want to. I have more info if you want to send me a private message.

Hello Ladies,
I am new here and I need an advice. I bought an "vintage Cartier Trinity band" from a private seller, but when I recived it, it has Cartier and the size engraved but the 750 for the gold was stamped. And: where is no Cartier tax-stamp (this little sign) inside. I contacted the seller and she said, the ring is very old, its from her friends grandmum. Some ladies here have awsome rings and necklaces and a lot of knowledge. So my question is: can my ring be authentic or is it a fake?
It weight is only 3,5 g and each band ist 1.2 mm-very small vintage version or definitly no? Please help, should I send back this ring to the seller or not?

It is a fake one, even packaging is fake. I hope you weren't unlucky winner.

Thanks for the info.

I was the winner of the auction but always had my suspicions. Was intending to collect it in person and check it out but your input has saved me a wasted journey.

Out of interest, what are the characteristics of the jewellery and packaging that give them away as fakes?

Thanks again.

If you have T&Co jewellery you can compare the packaging- in auction the fabric is cheap looking and string is attached too high. String doesn't look good as well. If you don't have anything to compare you can always do some research on google :smile1: . Check this

The pictures in the listing are blurry for a reason ( typical trick to pass a fake as a authentic item) - but you can see the stamp on the chain is incorrect ( of course I may be wrong ) Stamp on the heart doesn't look right as well. IMO it's a fake one and I would stay away from it. Maybe clear pictures would make more sense here, but pouch is fake for sure so I doubt someone sells a real piece in a fake pouch.

Have a look at this authentic piece
