You could ask, but it's always better to see a pic, just to be certain. They can come off, but the way they are situated inside the tag makes that difficult. Lack of one does not neccesarily mean it's not authentic, but I have never seen a fake WITH one.

Hi jpg here is the pic of the sticker on that juicy bag, is it okay? As far as the charm bracelet I didn't get it and I asked the seller to post more pics of the open heart necklace including the packaging so if she does I will have you take another look and if not oh well not meant to be I guess. I will try to get my elsa peretti ring pics to you tomarrow....please let me know about the juicy bag I'm not sure but to me it looks weird how the sticker is stuck on the tag but you know more then me and thanks again for all your help :D http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll

The link is not working for me, did she post to the listing? or do you have a copy of the pic you can post here?

I buy a lot of jewelry but almost always from authorized retailers. I am interested in a Yurman bracelet on Ebay (which makes me nervous enough as it is b/c I don't want to get scammed). I called the online ebay store (designerspotinc) who claims they will refund if items are found to be fake and guarantees authenticity but they have a lot of Yurman, coach, Tiffany etc and most of them are new. I asked where they get the items (new may I add) and where she got this particular bracelet and she said estate sales. When I asked about authenticity she said "as you can see from the photos on the site, all the markings are on it. Trust me, fakes do not have the DY and 925 stamps on them. I call always tell a real from a fake). I have never seen a DY fake so I can't attest to how "good" the fakes really are but I know the counterfiet industry is getting really good and I doubt that there aren't fakes out there with the proper stampings. Also, how does someone get so lucky as to buy multiple brand new designer pieces all from estate sales? Humm. If you are an Ebay expert and you can help me decipher if this is legit or not (based on what I have said), I would really appreciate it. Also, the link to the item is in the "authenticate this" thread. TIA!

The first one is reliable. They are a husband and wife team. They have been on ebay for a very long time and sell a lot. They met with the former CEO of ebay(she's in the pics) they get their pieces from the same places that a lot of the other large Yurman sellers gets theres so they often do have several of some pieces.

The 2nd one is not a great seller, I dealt with her before and would stay away. Her feedback attests to this as another poster mentioned.

The 3rd I'm not familiar with but it appears genuine from the pics. Ask the seller questions if in doubt.

No, this seller is fine. They are one of the original ebay powersellers and sell a real lot of authentic items. I responded under the "authenticate this" thread. There are a lot of other sellers on ebay who sell a real lot of authentic Yurman, many pieces are new and they often have more then one. A lot of these large Yurman sellers on ebay get their pieces the same way that the Yurman outlets, Saks Off Fifth, Neiman's Last Call, etc... get Yurman.

^^^I thought that Off 5th, Outlets and NMLC all get their Yurman from the designer himself as they are a licensed retailer and have contracts w/ Yurman? I can understand how an Ebay seller would buy from Off 5th and try to sell on Ebay but I don't get how they would get the pieces from the same source as Off 5th?

No, they aren't authorized Yurman retailers. It is like excess inventory and overstocks. They are pretty much the same as the large sellers on ebay who say that they aren't an authorized Yurman retailer. It's like how stores like Marshalls and TJ Max are able to get their designer items. I'm pretty certain that most of these ebay stores don't buy directly from Off Fifth. I also know that most of these large sellers wont tell you exactly where they get their pieces from, of they did they may risk losing their source. I know for a lot of people, myself included, this makes it a bit uncertain. I have worked with some of these sellers who have hundreds of Yurman pieces and they are completely legitimate.

If your gut has a bad feeling about it, walk away..... I buy a lot from ebay but from experience, when I have bought things from ebay that I havent been 100% sure about, I am always left with that niggling doubt which just spoils my enjoyment of the purchase and most times, it stays in the back of the wardrobe or jewellery box... not worth it!

I have a tiffany necklace I need to get authenticated. I am trying to photograph it and realize that jewelry is much harder than bags. Can someone give me some tips. I have tried flower button with lots of light no flash I have tried outside but it is not focusing on the little stamps imprinted on the necklace. Please help!

This type of necklace is what I am trying to authenticate. So can you also tell me what you need pics of? Thanks so much.
