Hey im a noob to the forums, I was told by my mother that a relative of mine brought this over from the Ship Hector in 1773 to Nova Scotia, Canada.... Any idea to tell the age, how rare it is or where it came from, value would be nice but is the least of my concern.

Thanks for your response. I couldn't get a clear picture. If I can get a better one I will repost it. I am pretty confident they are real. I bought from a reputable seller. I might go to Tiffany's and ask them and see if they will tell me.

I would recommend taking them into Tiffany or even send them to NY for cleaning if you don't live near a Tiffany store. I have a feeling they are okay but I don’t want to say for certain unless I am absolutely sure.

I have no experience abt this but antiqueshoppers has mentioned that cartier does not authenticate the stuff. But you could call them to ask, hope they would do it for you.
