I called my jeweler, who I trust a lot, and she said that she has worked with this family. She knows them very well!!!! She said that she will authenticate it for me. OMG!!! I'm in LOVE!!!

This pin was given to me as a gift. It is a gold rose with a small diamond. When my boyfriend purchased it, he was told it was vintage (seller owned it since 1970s, not sure if they were the original owners or not). Box is supposedly original, although I have never seen one this color (it is very dark navy blue with gold lettering). Marked Tiffany & Co as well as 14k on back.
Do you think it is authentic (box&pin)?

I am still not able to post photos. The pin is identical to item # 370542381549 on eBay. The only difference is that the stamp on the back reads Tiffany & Co, with 14k below it (not 14kp).
I imagine without an actual photo of my pin, it is hard to say, but is this an item which would have been copied? It is definitely 14k gold, with a small, but very high quality diamond.

- it is exactly the same as my authentic one, same size, same weight, same feel, the difference is in the engraving, it is in the same place and says the same but isn't deeply engraved like my authentic one. The writing looks more on the surface if you know what I mean, this makes me think it may be a replica - are all Elsa Peretti Open hearts deeply engraved? TIA
