This one's not from ebay. It's a Tiffany cuff - I have no idea if it's authentic or not and would be grateful for your help :smile1:

Hi there!

I am currently contemplating buying the Tiffany 1837 Cuff. But before I buy I would really appreciate some advice. Many thanks!

Ebay item:360559799143

Seller seems to have a good feedback score, however didn't sell much Tiffany.

It may be reflection but the photo that shows the hallmark stamp seems distorted somewhat. I would ask the seller for a clean shot of the stamp.

Thank you for your help. I will definitely do that. I also had my doubts regarding the engraving at the front?! especially at the T&C bit. Doesn't seem very precise whereas my earrings (I have the round studs with similar engraving) are perfectly engraved. It is a lot cheaper than the other ones and that makes it attractive. Especially since I used to have this bracelet years ago but it got stolen in an burglary years ago ;-(

So I thought I could replace it with a 2nd hand one. But of course I want it to be genuine. I will let you know when the new pic's arrive. Thank you ever so much for your help at this stage.

Can anyone verify if this eBay seller is legit. Has alot of Tiffany and Cartier. Appears to be a NYC gold buyer and seller on W37th

It would helpful to see the hallmark stamps on both pieces clearly. However everything I can see so far points to authentic jewelry. The shape and contours are perfect and as they should be for these pieces. I don't see any red flags with either as they are pictured.

Has anyone dealt with liveactions.com?? I was Googling the Cartier screwdriver necklace and ran across this site .. http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/10503149

Yes, this is a legitimate website. Once you register you will have to phone call the business who is handling which ever listing you are interested in. You will get an email with the info. I have not personally purchased something but did register once for a listing. Not everything on the site is authentic though. I don't know Cartier but when I have gone through the Tiffany listings, I have come across quite a few fakes in the mix.

edited to add- I did talk to the vendor who was handling the listing I was looking at. They were very nice and needed to ask a few questions. They liquidate items that were returned due to bad debt, bankruptcy returns from creditors and other situations where items of value are returned to the vendor. etc…. I think they need to confirm that you are not the original owner or know the original owner of the items in question. I never did get a clear answer on that but this is what I gathered by talking with them.
