To really say for certian, it would be best to get clearer photo's. The chain is not Tiffany. The heart pendant on the chain is looking okay but getting a clear/not blurry picture is needed to say for sure.

For the earrings- same thing. If you could get a clear shot of the front and the back, that would be helpful.

I am sorry to say, I don’t like how these look. The design is stabilized on the sides to keep the design/links straight and in tact but its not fused. The links should still have clear and consistent shape along the edges with no obvious visible fusing. The placement of the hallmark stamp is also not right. These don’t look right to me.

Those pictures are much better. Yes, everything looks authentic. The chain, sadly, is not Tiffany. Tiffany never made a chain like this. The tab where the lobster claw attaches to open/close the necklace is a 'tab' that Tiffany has never used in a necklace. Also, all Tiffany pieces would be stamped (chains especially) and there is no stamp.

It could be that the seller is a gold/silver buyer or maybe bought this piece from someone else and was told it was Tiffany. Its hard to say but as mentioned, Tiffany never made a chain like that. It appears to be stamped 14K so it is still a nice gold chain that carries value.

I posted this a few days ago and I did not receive a response. Is this the right place for me to pst for authenticating Cartier Love Bracelets/Rings?

You are in the right place to authenticate jewelry but in my time here, I don’t think I have seen anyone who comes here on a regular basis for Cartier. I know that FakeSpotters.com will authenticate high end jewelry and may do Cartier but I am not certain. This is the only place that I know of who may be able to give you a qualified response. It is a service you have to pay for but it may be worth it if you can get a good deal on eBay. I don’t know a lot about this web site but it might be worth checking out.

Thanks so much! I will try them out!

I am looking to make my first VCA purchase, the Magic Alhambra necklace with the white, Tahitian/grey mop, and black onyx combination, in the lariat style. There is a store near me that has a pre-owned piece. I went to try it on, and couldn't see the authentication mark, the VCA and numbers, but the man selling it showed it to me, you had to use the jeweler's loop. So, my first question is- does that sound right? I could kind of see the VCA, but definitely not the serial numbers without the loop.

This is the necklace from the VCA website: http://www.vancleefarpels.com/us/en/product/2290/Magic Alhambra necklace with pendants

My second question is this- all this information was on the lobster clasp. Is that correct?

I have seen pieces on this VCA subforum where the numbers are on the clovers or on a plate, but not on the lobster clasp?

Thanks so much!
