I bought a ring for my wife on eBay. I wanted to see if there are any David Yurman experts that can help me figure out it's authenticity. I believe it's legit since the seller's feedback was 99.4% with over a thousand transactions. There were two negatives in the past year out of over 500. Here are some pictures I just took. Sorry for the quality. Please let me know what you all think.

Here is the seller's feedback/store.

I'm not an expert, but someone with several pieces. I have this ring in aquamarine, and yours looks good compared to mine.

Hi everyone,

Can any authenticate this Tiffany necklace? Also, the seller listed it as new, but I think I see some tarnish on the inside of the pendant as my friend tried to capture in the pictures - does this typically occur on real Tiffany? Also, the links on the bottom are the hi-res versions of the pictures shown here in case they would help. Thanks!

Sometimes sellers list as new meaning "never worn, or almost never worn", lol. This is the Peretti open teardrop necklace. What you see as tarnish is normally actually just shadows and reflections due to lighting and surroundings objects. This looks to be the older version, as they have changed the necklace tab very slightly, but otherwise looks right. Shape looks good, as do markings/fonts, and fakes often get that wrong (not that you often see fakes of this style, but they are out there). I would have liked to have seen the teardrop a little clearer, but that is sometimes hard to do without a very good camera and knowing how to use it. And yes, that "tarnished" look effect happens often on real Tiffany that IRL is very clean. The pouch looks good as far as material and font, but again leads me to believe this is for the older version of the necklace, as you normally don't see the pouches that small anymore for necklaces. Did any other packaging come with it, btw, besides the pouch?

Great, thanks so much! She only sent it with the pouch, so nothing else was included.

Well, it looks good. If you want to polish it up a little bit on the cheap, make a paste of baking soda and water, so it is very thick, dip it in, and rub it with your hands on all the areas you want to clean. Much gentler than most chemical silver polishes (though it doesn't remove very heavy tarnish), and rinse well with lukewarm to cool water (hands too,of course). Even when they look clean, you'll see the paste look icky dark (when pre-owned, they could always use a polish). Then enjoy!

Just received a Tiffany & Co. heart toggle necklace off ebay and it seems pretty legit. Except one thing, the box is more like paper over the box not that leathery material that are on most tiffany boxes. The blue pouch looks to be authentic, with the stitches and what not.

Did they ever make this box?

HAPPY HOLIDAYS:tup:

^^ i think pictures would certainly help ;-D

fyi, their older boxes had paper like material over their box

if you're wondering about the authenticity of your toggle heart necklace or if you have any doubts, you should post pictures here and we could help you authenticate...there have recently been a lot of toggle heart necklaces that are good fakes

Aqua is right, the older boxes were not the sort of pebbled ones they use now, and that the toggle fakes are getting pretty good, even the fake packaging is getting better unfortunately. If it says "new" toggle necklace, and has the old style packaging, beware. If you could post the link, we'd be happy to take a look.

My grandpa passed away three years ago and he used to wear this automatic watch. I recently found it and wondered if it was real Omega. Here are the images. Thanks in advance!
