Hello!

Could anyone please help me identifying these two scarfs? I've just started learning about Hermès thus there are a lot of questions.

In this case I am actually quite confused about the colours.

1) This one is "Cavaliers des nuages". I haven't seen it in this colour yet. It has all the indications (except tag). Does it even exist in this colour?

2) The second one is "Le Nouveau Manège". I've got the same question about colours. Also there is no (c) sign, so I'm quite worried about it.IMG_5177.jpeg IMG_5185.jpeg

I hope I am not breaking the rules, by asking a question that pertains to authenticity but not in the regular sense - if so, please delete.

I have been offered this Hermes Jaguar Q as a 140 cm 100% silk scarf, not CSGM, but I have not been able to find other examples of this scarf being made in this format. Therefore I fear it may be fake, even though I trust the seller.

Do any of you experts know of any Jaguar Q 140 cm silks being made?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you!

I actually expressed my doubts to the seller, and she looked into it for me. Though first assuring me that her source was very trustworthy, she a short while ago got back to me, and admitted that she had discovered that the scarf was a fake [emoji17]

I would be so grateful if I could get assistance in making sure this Twilly is authentic for me. I bought it on eBay new with tag. The tag is only attached at top two left and right corners. Thank you so so much!

First I want say this: I am not an expert, but have learnt some about H scarves through the years that I would like to share.
1) This is a beautiful colour! Unluckily there is no catalogue where you could find a list of all colour ways in H scarves. For one design there could be ten different colour ways.
2) Le Nouveau Manège was edited in 1962. Hermès began to introduce copyright signs in the 60ies. The first copyright symbols was a C in a circle and could be placed anywhere in the picture as a part of the design. It is called floating copyright sign. Since this scarf is from 1962, probably it has no copyright sign.

Good morning, lovely dedicated experts. I have this lovely Phillippe Ledoux Cosmos Scarf and I’m trying to figure out what reissue year it is.

The main thing that’s throwing me off is the (Copyright?) C to the left of the bottom center printed Hermes Paris.

Hoping the pics I took come through for you all.
Hermès began to introduce copyright signs in the 60ies. Cosmos was first edited in 1966. The first copyright symbols was a C in a circle and could be placed anywhere in the picture as a part of the design. It is called floating copyright sign. In the reeditions, the copyright signs look different. But the floating copyright sign is still there, since it is a part of the design, as in your scarf.

These two posts were first posted in the Scarf Identification thread where I answered them. Then the posts were moved to this thread, where I never would give an answer - I am not an authenticator!
