Thanks dear, is Veau Box Calf the same as the box leather that we always talk about on the forum?

D,You know your BBK pic has a great influence on me ;p
Yes, this bag has been re-listed, I thought I would email an offer:)

Yes it is the same leather, go ahead and I hope you get it. Box is my favorite leather too!!

The seller has turned on the enlargement feature and also added a picture of the blindstamp. I note that the bag appears to have been sold and returned in a recent auction. Any additional help you can give would be super.

Seller did not try too hard, there is one additional picture, looks very different in terms of lighting and background from the other pictures which are still too small. This one just gives me a bad feeling, I would not bid personally.

I would like to respond with those Hermes bags I am selling are 100% authentic, I question your judgement and fear you are misleading. If you are stating the bags are FAKE, and by god they are not, please tell me what am I missing in the pictures then to prove otherwise.
Many thanks in advance for your knowledge.

Which bags Nancy? Pictures are the only way we can tell about a bag. If you want to see examples of good pictures, look at sandiaexchange's auctions on eBay, and check out the beginning of this thread where we say what is required.

If we cannot see the bag, then it is better to be cautious.

Thanks in advance for any authentication help:

Item: Birkin 35 Graphite Clemence
Listing number: 290454708443
Seller: horses*and*hermes
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTHENTIC-PRIST...tem&pt=US_CSA_WH_Handbags&hash=item43a07320db
Comments: Seller has listed same item in two auctions: the one linked above (w/BIN option) and a traditional auction (listing #290455664265).

Please also note that the seller recently changed eBay ID from hunter-equitation-goddess and do a search. ;)

Do not bid. I have never seen such a letter in 30 years of collecting and I am sure that Hermes do not provide this kind of thing.

I have read LightPinkDaisy's post as well. Thank you, very much/

Now you should DEFINITELY not bid.

The world is full of bad people unfortunately, we just do what we can to stay on the side of the right and the good.

This bag looks authentic to me.

I agree that the letter initially pictured in the listing was quite border line, and I know that this seller has somehow a twisted selling history, as well as some kind of twisted history here in tpf.

BUT : this bag does not look like a fake to me. That is not such a bad start - I would verify a few things with seller, though.
1- make sure they actually have the item in their possession : ask for specific pictures . Ask the pictures to be sent by email to you so you'll get them high resolution.
2-make sure Seller agrees to accept a return if you are not satisfied with the bag, for any reason. (not if the bag is not authentic, because no one is going to ever write you a letter of NON authenticity)
Set up an agrement of 3 days or so after delivery , so you have time to take the bag to Hermes for a check.
And have seller write this agrement in their ebay listing.

If this seller is willing to make an honest deal, they will most probabely accept.

That beein said, make sure you pay by paypal,( if you have a confirmed address) and respect all the terms on your side.

I think it is worth a try if you DO like this bag.

my 0.02.

When someone on the thread says a bag is fake, and I have looked at almost all the pictures of the Hermes bags on Ebay and elsewhere, I found I was showing what a client would need to feel confident in their purchase. The bags have never been used and there are no tags on them accept the Kelly which did have a tag in the inner pocket as well as the receipt from the store it was purchased at. I showed those in my pictures as well. I do not understand how someone can say they are fake. I am concerned, and feel very torn since I rely on the knowledge of you the consumers but to dismiss my bags as fakes, is very damaging, since they are not.

nancym......I believe you are the seller FANCYPANTS on eBay? Could you post the bags you are concerned about in the format required so we can respond to your posts? I checked your listings and didn't see any Hermes products up for sale at the moment but perhaps I'm wrong about your eBay handle.....

S'Mom, this seller has three up at present under the above user name I just had a look. I do not see fancypants in the ebay id history.
