Shushopn, thanks for checking them out. =) I don't know about the seller, I can only hope that her buyers got the real things. =)

Greendrv: Thanks for authenticating too. =)

Your 100% right about feedback and not going by it...I just would have thought someone would have caught her if any bags were fake by now. The scarf tote looks fishy particularly since that seller has a lot of "guccis" for sale. I think the others look good though...Hmmmm, very hard to tell. God, I hate not knowing for sure. I wish I could seee them IRL. I have a feeling she mixes fake w/ real like someone else had said.

bumping up my post again..

hi everyone :)

I just bought the Gucci "Charmy" Medium Boston Bag from Bluefly and to no avail.. it was only after I registered at the forum that I discovered about the fake-bag incidents at Bluefly.

sooo I was wondering if anyone could verify the authenticity of my bag.
Does your camera have a macro setting on it? That will allow you to take a better close up of the serial number. From what I can see it looks pretty good, but it would be nice to get a better view of the tag.

The first one looks ok, though not in the best shape, but I would hesitate to buy from this seller after reviewing her feedback on toolhaus.org she has 24 negatives and sounds like her items are far worse condition then described.
Unsure about 2nd one, not many pics.

okay, you might have a question about - is this authentic? Well, for example -look below at the link for this eBay auction...

http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTHENTIC-GUCCI-MEDIUM-SHOULDER-HANDBAG-PURSE-BAG-TOTE_W0QQitemZ200034837277QQihZ010QQcategoryZ63852QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Now look at the GUCCI website for the same purse... http://www.gucci.com/us/us-english/us/classics/handbags/#cl_hb_154982_F40IG_9761

- be sure to clickon the 2nd option for the matching purse in brown

OKAY, now looking at the photos of both - do you see one thing that stands out more than anything else, besides the listing price? The stitching...notice that the eBay seller's purse has WHITE stitching while the GUCCI site shows the authentic purse with BROWN stitching.

...For those of you questioning the authenticity of a GUCCI purse, I hope this helps!

Regards,
With your best interest in mind J

ahh thanx for the feedback!

im not sure about the settings... i was just randomly pressing buttons. unfortunately, i don't have my camera with me right now.. so i can't take more pics of the tag...everything else seems to look legit, except for the tag. i mean if it was a fake.. i think it'd be a pretty darn good fake!

most gucci tags i've seen, the numbers in the back were aligned pretty straight...mine were a little crooked.. however, i compared it to my wristlet and the font of the numbers seem to match... also, the gucci tag (from bluefly) consisted of two pieces of leather glued together....is it suppose to be two pieces?

So I saw a Britt Medium bag on Bluefly this morning, very tempting with the discounted price, the additional 15% off coupon and 6% off from mrrebates. But I took a close look at the bag and compared it with the picture from NM ... I am not sure about the authenticity. Can someone with this bag comment? My question is on the white stitches around the double Gs. The stitches don't look like they follow the outline closely/evenly.

eqzoom.ms

I can't zoom in on this pic fron NM's website, but you can tell the stitches are uniform around the outline of the double Gs. Is it because of the angle or the one from Bluefly is a fake or a defected bag?
