Hi!

I was thinking of purchasing this purse from a private seller who says it is authentic! Can you please help me to see if it really is??

bumping up my post again..

hi everyone :)

I just bought the Gucci "Charmy" Medium Boston Bag from Bluefly and to no avail.. it was only after I registered at the forum that I discovered about the fake-bag incidents at Bluefly. :sad:

sooo I was wondering if anyone could verify the authenticity of my bag.

here's the bag from Gucci.com

the bag was in a GG dust bag which was placed inside a zip lock bag with a bluefly tag on it. the bag smells like real leather and the craftsmanship seems to be pretty good. everything is stitched/embroidered on.. i even flipped the straps to the fullest extent to see if they were glued on. however, I was weary of the logo on the tag and the tag ID on the back.

the interior

this was the best picture i could get of the tag. my camera isn't functioning properly and i tried to adjust the lighting and what not ;P

again, it was difficult to capture the ID tag in the back with my camera and the lighting adjustments.. this was the best picture i have. i was a little worried because the ID tag in the back looked kinda off and the numbers weren't perfectly aligned. the tag has 2 rows consisting of 12 numbers.

the color might be a bit off because of my camera and the lighting...

i'd appreciate any sort of feedback.

The weird thing is that she sold multiple items in the exact style/color (based on feedbacks from buyers). The seller told some members that her husband bought bags for her.

I know...Very strange. Why would her dh buy the same bag over and over? Her feedback is good and people even comment how the bags are authentic. I don't get it but the bags are damn good if they're fakes.

Is this Gucci tote authentic?

Something I'm wanting to know for authenticating Gucci bags-- on the sides of all Gucci bags (or most?) should the GG's line up? In this tote for example, they don't appear to line up on the sides.

I'm not sure about feedback, I have seen replica sellers with 100% feeback. Some buyers might not know whether the bags are authentic or fake. I would like to believe that her buyers received the real things, but I couldn't (for some reason).

I checked out jsisme2002's previously completed transactions again, how about these Gucci items she got off ebay?

Your 100% right about feedback and not going by it...I just would have thought someone would have caught her if any bags were fake by now. The scarf tote looks fishy particularly since that seller has a lot of "guccis" for sale. I think the others look good though...Hmmmm, very hard to tell. God, I hate not knowing for sure. I wish I could seee them IRL. I have a feeling she mixes fake w/ real like someone else had said.
