Hi there,

This bag definitely looks authentic. This bag came from an outlet, as they punch holes in their bags so that they cannot be exchanged at a regular Gucci boutique. I also happen to have this exact bag (which I purchased a few years ago at the Boston boutique) and this one looks identical to my bag--if you purchased this, I would rest assured. hth! :o)

Does anyone recognize this bag? My sister found this "Gucci?" in a thrift shop and we don't even know if it is a purse, let alone authentic! It is very large and unfolds like a grocery sac. Very nice suede with very soft leather inside. She is a horse person and recognizes the stitching and knotting as that used in equestrian tack. Does anyone have any info or comments?

hi everyone :)

I just bought the Gucci "Charmy" Medium Boston Bag from Bluefly and to no avail.. it was only after I registered at the forum that I discovered about the fake-bag incidents at Bluefly. :sad:

sooo I was wondering if anyone could verify the authenticity of my bag.

the bag was in a GG dust bag which was placed inside a zip lock bag with a bluefly tag on it. the bag smells like real leather and the craftsmanship seems to be pretty good. everything is stitched/embroidered on.. i even flipped the straps to the fullest extent to see if they were glued on. however, I was weary of the logo on the tag and the tag ID on the back.

this was the best picture i could get of the tag. my camera isn't functioning properly and i tried to adjust the lighting and what not ;P

again, it was difficult to capture the ID tag in the back with my camera and the lighting adjustments.. this was the best picture i have. i was a little worried because the ID tag in the back looked kinda off and the numbers weren't perfectly aligned. the tag has 2 rows consisting of 12 numbers.

the color might be a bit off because of my camera and the lighting...

I don't really know about this style of bag but I would think you could tell once you got it because you could tell if the eel was real or fake stamped leather. I really doubt there are fake authentic eel bags of this style being made.

Also you can check the seller's feedback.
