Just an observation, Auction states that bag for sale is Dark Brown. There is only one photo at the bottom of a dark brown bag, the rest of the photos look like they are of a black bag.

If this is the case I would definately contact the seller and ask for photos of the specific bag that they are selling. If they are not selling the black bag then you need detailed photos of the brown bag, including one of the front & back of the inside tag (close-up not blurry)

Kinda makes me wonder why they have detailed photos of a diff color bag,KWIM?

I agree w/emald the photos of the black bag look ok, but if that isnt the bag they are selling doesn't really help.

I would also ask the seller where the original purchaser bought this, seems like a pretty expensive gift, they might also have the receipt (although receipts can be faked as well) Any other opinions?

I think it is the lighting that makes it appear black, but it is always good to ask for more pictures. It looks like flash was used in the last picture but not the others. I have seen this bag at the store and the color is a dark brown and looks more like the brown in the first few pictures without the flash.

On the website I only see a platino leather one that looks like it could be guccissima.. I haven't seen one in black leather?

For the first one, the G's look off, and the white business card size Gucci Controllato card, I've never seen. The box looks off to me as well.

For the 2nd one, I've not seen that Gucci Box, or the lining with Gucci on it.

Again, these are just my opinions. I've only been a member of the board since this past summer. I have 5 Gucci bags and 1 Gucci Wallet and they were all purchased at Gucci or Saks. When I check for authenticity, I check against my Gucci items or have just learned some tips from the various boards I read.

If you see a Black Gucci Card, that's a definite FAKE sign. I think Gucci is so hard to determine authenticity. For the most part, I can only say when something is fake. If I think something could be real and if I'm not sure, I don't respond to the post or I say I'm not sure. I usually don't say something is absolutely authentic. There was only 1 time I did that on this board and it's because someone posted a question about one of my auctions.

If you keep reading this board you'll start to see and get the hang of it. :yes:

To me, this the leather imprint looks too deep and the price does seem to good to be true.. Brand new this bag would be $2090. That BIN is too low even for used.

Compare it to this from the Gucci site. Look at the Guccissima in Chocolate Brown and you can see.

BlueFly sells only authentic designer merchandise. People may have had a lot of problems, but it's certainly not with BlueFly!
