wow after reading this posting i am so scared of buying a fake second hand or on ebay now. i think the best thing to do is dish out the retail price and just buy the real thing that way i can sleep at night knowing its not fake. great posts thanks =)

Not familiar with this bag, but something I noticed right away is in the last photo, at the very top (above the tag and clasp) the stitching is very uneven. Gucci's stitching is usually pretty even. Something else I noticed, seller doesn't say it is authentic, they say it is auth. Hopefully someone will come along who is familiar with this bag and give an opinion.

You're too kind. I'm not as familiar with the new Gucci styles, but the vintage accessory collection (from the 80's) is the collection I'm more familiar with. I love vintage Gucci myself. This happens to be the collection that was out and very instyle when I was in high school (Aging myself), :wlae: . I remember begging my mom for my first Gucci which was the doctor style bag from this collection.:smile1:

mmmmMmmm... the doctor style bag!! i am still searching for one on ebay, hehe. I'm sure you were and still is one hip girl with all those gucci's.
