Hello,

I am new to this website, so I apologize for any inconvenience but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is an authentic Gucci bag???? :hysteric:

I am the winner of this auction and was wondering if it is authentic and if so, any info anyone may have on this bag? This seller is very big and seems to only sale authentic. They just sold a Gucci hobo bag last week that had tons and tons of bidders!

Any help would be sincerely appreciated. I am hoping it is real as I am dsiabled/terminally ill and my income is very limited. I would be so upset if it wasn't. Thank you so much and happy new year to you all, Becky

In my opinion 837 negatives in the past month is not a good rating. As for the bag I'm not familiar with it, hopefully someone else has more info. I wish I could help more.

Is this vintage bag real?? PM me b/c it would be easier to see if someone responded to me question!! Thanks!!

I am more familiar with the Accessory Collection, but I think this might have been a collection prior to that. I am leaning towards real, the lining looks right. The leather in the first 3 photos looks too dark (maybe just the lighting) the color of the leather in the 5th photo looks right. I would ask for a close up of the gold buckles that straps are attached to ( to make sure they have the gucci on them) Also a close up of the interlocking Gs on the front to make sure they are correct. I am not familiar with this particular bag but it does have several of the right characteristics of a vintage gucci. Seller has good feedback & guarantees authenticity. Hopefully someone else who is also familiar with vintage can offer a 2nd opinion. If you do decide to get it, I would pay with paypal by credit card.

Hello Kripy,

Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I sincerely mean it from the heart. I agree about the megative feedback with this ebay seller. They do seem to sale only authentic items, but I could be wrong. I have now paid for the bag (as I was the winner and it is the right thing to do), so when I get it is there anything I coud do to check if it is real or not?

Thank you again for the warm welcome and happy new year!

does mydesignerbrands.com sell real Gucci? I purchased one and it is falling apart, but the company is standing by its authenticity. It is a medium charmy bag, but the zipper pulls on the inside and out have fallen apart. Has anyone had problems with color of the Gucci straps peeling or changing? HELP!!!:shame:

Happy New Year to you as well. I'm just not sure if Gucci made a bag like this or not, so it is hard to tell you the specifics to look for. I can say Gucci is about quality, so when you get it check to see things like stitching should be even, the buckles on the straps should have some kind of Gucci imprint on them, usuall G's, inside should have a Gucci tag with serial number on the back side of it, and the leather should be good quality. You should take photos when the bag arrives (of the inside, the tag inside etc. ) and post them, and hopefully someone can give you some feedback. Hopefully you paid by credit card through pay pal, this way if it is not authentic you can file a dispute. However, sometimes you can just contact the seller 1st if you believe it to not be authentic. I truly wish I could give you more help, however I am most familiar with the vintage items.
