I already inquired about this bag. It's authentic, but the color is off.

It could be just a lighting problem...If you are really interested in the bag, try asking for more pics (preferably outdoor ones). Somehow I have a feeling that it's just poor lighting and photo-taking skills (because I doubt someone would let their bag sit in a spot that allows it to be damaged by UV light). I also looked at my Vintage Flowers bag, and realized that it looks very different depending on the lighting (in some lighting the logos stand out a lot, while in others they tend to shy away a bit).

I hope this helps! Good luck with this auction (it may sell for a lot)!

oh geez, i'm almost fooled
i thought it's real because the seller he/she has the receipt, and because there's some damage inside, the price is pretty low :wtf:

I've seen so many counterfeited receipts that a receipt really doesn't prove authenticity for me anymore. Even if a bag were authentic, it's the details of the bag itself that tell me, not the receipt. Have you also noticed how wrinkled the receipt is? It's funny how forgers think that receipts need to look wrinkled to look like they're real (just like counterfeiters of money)...I have 2 receipts for my Dior bags, neither of which have any wrinkles (they have been folded very properly and placed alongside the carebooklet).

The lining in that Gaucho is completely inaccurate, and I love how the seller claimed that she ripped the interior leather tag off accidentally. That tag is very sturdy and will most likely scratch and scruff rather than rip off. Ripping it off should damage the lining behind it, too. I can think of many other reasons why the tag was ripped off, considering that it is a very important piece in the authentication of many Dior pieces.

I am really disturbed by what great lengths people will go through to convince people that their fakes are the real deal.

thanks a lot MayDay!

last two bags seem real to me judging from the interior tag and cards, dustbag. the 2nd bag, this one: eBay: NWT $895 Authentic Christian Dior CD Pink Logo Bag (item 270056442003 end time Nov-24-06 15:31:04 PST)

looks real (based on the cards, dustbag) although i'll admit i've not seen this style so i can't be too sure.

the other 2 bags (first and 3rd), i'm clueless, particularly the third, the pictures are pretty dark.

i hope that helps a little, and hopefully mayday will help you authenticate them soon.

as far as i can see, the colour does resemble the red gaucho and the tag does seem accurate. the seller also looks like she's sold some authentic things (an lv wallet & christian louboutins). i would say that the red gaucho seems authentic but i think it's best to wait to mayday weighs in on this. ;)

YEP!!! I agree with Zerodross!!!

I agree with Zerodross! All the bags except the pink wallet (the third linkyou posted) are authentic!

The regular retail price for the small saddle is around $230US, and was actually on sale at the outlets for half price, so don't pay anything over $100 for these or you won't be getting a good deal (unless it's in mint condition, which is very hard to find. A mint condition mini saddle looks very shapely with sharp curves).

Hi Sleepykitten!

Both of these pairs of shoes are authentic, although the first one isn't in the condition the seller mentioned since the bottom is worn off. I'd be very careful buying used shoes on Ebay, because you don't really know how clean/sanitary the seller is in person. Plus you can get brand new ones on Ebay for the same price or a bit more, so it's better if you buy the brand new ones (they may not come in your size but keep looking...eventually you'll find a few).
