Hi Nekopanda!

All 3 Gauchos are fake! The first and second Gaucho is fake because the interior tag doesn't even have stitching near the edge (many other details are inaccurate as well). The third Gaucho is fake because its authenticity card is completely wrong, and the white looks a bit too clean (the real one looks very dirty).

I saw the Gauchos for $50 too! The one I was looking at had a picture of the real deal which was stolen from another seller! The nerve of these people. I hope that people don't think that the real one is fake because pictures of the real thing are used for an auction that obviously involves a fake ($50 is just way too low for a Gaucho to be real). But then again I'm sure people are smarter than that.

I've seen a lot of Dior bags (because I absolutely love Dior), and know the Christian Dior PARIS logo enough to see inconsistencies. Actually, if you look at the original Christian Dior logo (even on the back of one of their cosmetics packages; it usually says "Parfums Christian Dior" in the original company font) and use it to compare with logos on bags/accessories that you wish to buy, you can see how the logos are the same (if they are authentic) or different (if they are fake). Parfums Dior packages are an easy way to access authentic Dior and use to compare with other Dior products.

In terms of bags, here are some details that give told me that the saddle bag is fake:

- the shape of the saddle is too round...it needs more curves and sharp bends to be authentic
- the interior leather flap has an inaccurate Dior logo both in font and proportions (the font is wrong and even though the logo is hard to see on this, the outline from the lighting tells me it's inaccurate...it's also not heat-embossed very well unlike on the real one)

Here are some of the details that told me that the large vintage boston bag is authentic:

- the Dior logos look very accurate
- the inside should have a white fabric tag that says Christian Dior PARIS (sometimes it says Scotchgard on the reverse).
- the bag looks high quality, and the attention to detail is clear.

Hi Bethanycrt!

This bag is authentic! I haven't seen this bag many times and I think it looks really trendy...embodies a lot of the Dior style when Galliano first started designing for Dior. This denim printed canvas used to be very popular with Dior (especially on their saddle and mini saddle bags), and although it has been discontinued the bags themselves look like they will be in style for years to come, because the semi-trashy look hasn't run out of style yet.

As for buying this bag for myself, I can see myself using a bag like this, but for going to school and running errands. It looks quite durable and practical (especially with the messenger style strap), but I like more complex bags for other occasions.
