Thank you and be safe!

I'll preface this by saying that I am not a fan of Poshmark and recommend against doing business on that site when there are other sites with the same items, sites that are more responsive and dependable on taking action when fakes are reported.

Although the listing in question is okay, I'm suspicious of this one, which interestingly, is the only one of pluke77's listings without a picture of the creed. There are a couple of details that bother me.
https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-bag-5abd29e1f9e50152d70eb075

Also, someone asked for the measurements of that bag and she replied:

"Hi, not sure what you mean measurements are standard for coach bag this size, refer to picture"

Not exactly helpful.
Not only is the seller not helpful, but she's also not too careful.

Although the listing with the questionable hang tag and unhelpful response to the measurement question doesn't show a creed, she shows what is probably the creed to that bag in this listing and no creed shown for the bag in this listing.

I sell on consignment and have this bag in my possession. The creed says made in Costa Rica and I see a bullet which I believe says it was sold at a discount store. I’m also not understanding how the strap is attached. It is not easy to slide it thru, could it be a defect or is this a replica? Owner swears this is genuine vintage. Can I get another opinion?

Thanks for your help.

It's authentic. The strap isn't supposed to slide through the rings like that. That is just something someone did to try to shorten it. You are supposed to clip the clips to the rings rather than clipping them to each other.
The bullet means it was sold at a Coach outlet.

For some reason the same listing is showing for me for both of those last 2 links, and they include the same creed photo. The URLs look identical, but THERE ARE 2 DIFFERENT BAGS IN EACH LISTING. On top are 2 photos of a 9890 Scout Bag from the early 1990s (no creed shown) and the other that includes a creed photo is a Patricia's Legacy L72-9951 from 1997.

Wonder if the seller is reading these posts and trying to scramble up her photos? Or if she's just clueless about matching up photos? Since they're both light brown-ish they must be the same bag, right? Right?

Someone even pointed that out to her:

poster - Hello! I wanted to ask you if both purses pictured are $25 for two or are they $25 each? Cause I’m really interested in purchasing the first one.

seller - only one brown coach is listed at this time, but I do have a red Hobo coming up very soon

The listing was marked SOLD the same day that these comments were posted. On her main page the Scout Bag is shown as Sold for $25 but it looks like the Pat's Legacy might still be for sale but at $75 and with NO creed photo.

It has the same "measurements" comment as the red Lula's Drawstring - "Hi, not sure what you mean measurements are standard for coach bag this size, refer to picture". I'm not sure if the two listings are for the same Pat's Legacy since the photos are different. The creases on the inside of the flap where it folds over seem to be different when the two are compared.

Sheesh.

I'm responsible for your confusion. I did post links to the same listing.

I'll risk adding more confusion by explaining what I did.

I was pointing out that the questionable bag I referred to in post #28389 (the Patricia) actually belongs to the creed that was posted in the other listing I linked to in post #28397.

The bottom line is that between her carelessness and laziness and the lack of integrity on the entire admin and poshmark site, I suggest caution!

Yep, her right hand doesn't seem to know what her left hand is doing. And she has less than half a dozen Coach listings! How can things get so confused? And the laziness or cluelessness or don't-give-a fat-rat's-patoot attitude about measurements just boggles my mind. What kind of seller expects someone to buy a bag without knowing how big or small it is?

Both are fine. The top is a Ranger bag #4201.

I can't tell definitively that there is something wrong. The silver one looks a lot like mine, and it is hard to tell if it just looks off because of the angle of the pictures. I don't have any pictures of the gold style.
