  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I'll preface this by saying that I am not a fan of Poshmark and recommend against doing business on that site when there are other sites with the same items, sites that are more responsive and dependable on taking action when fakes are reported.

Although the listing in question is okay, I'm suspicious of this one, which interestingly, is the only one of pluke77's listings without a picture of the creed. There are a couple of details that bother me.

Thank you so much Hyacinth! Yes... that's it, like mine (I bought it). I didn't have a measuring tape with me the first day and I estimated the dimensions, but yes... it's exactly like in your picture and with those dimensions. :smile:

Thank you, I have read your posts about Poshmark, but the seller offered a discount and it's a red vintage bucket bag which I've been wanting for a while, so I just couldn't help myself [emoji5]

I agree about never trusting Poshmark to do the right thing when it comes to fakes on their site. We've heard from a LOT of members here who bought a provable and sometimes screamingly obvious fake and had a terrible time getting a refund.

With this particular bag though, I think it's genuine as long as you get the exact same bag with the exact same creed shown in the photos.

Also, someone asked for the measurements of that bag and she replied:

"Hi, not sure what you mean measurements are standard for coach bag this size, refer to picture"

Not exactly helpful.

Thanks, I will definitely make sure it is the same one. This will be my first bag purchased on this site. Fingers crossed it goes well.
