But the month code is invalid, the strap grommets are silver, and I don't know if the stamped style number is 9920 or 9929 but neither one is right for a Taft Bag which should be 9980, and the Taft wasn't even introduced until a year after the fake date code in the bag.

The hangtag is definitely fake but wait for more opinions on the creed. I think the bag itself might be okay.

It's a genuine Madison Arcadia Tote, style 4409.

There are other threads where it was shown that ***************** deemed a fake Coach bag as authentic. It was stated by someone who "knows" that ***************** denied authenticating items for the seller. This person claimed to have contacted AF and they denied authenticating items for this seller. (I don't believe AF.)

Personally, if I were that client, I would be absolutely steaming that AF tried to cover its butt by authenticating a fake by accusing the client of faking the authentication. Rather than admit its oops authentication, they're lying about having done the deed.

Oh my! I was looking at their listings after the kerfluffle and did not notice this Coach had the AF logo in it since AF said they had not authenticated any Coach for them. Color me confused. But, I like the bag!

Hi, I have one more. This one I own and I am starting to wonder if it is real because even though I baby my purses it is having issues. This purse is only used on the weekends and the striping on the sides of the handles is starting to pull off and one of the hardware that is suppose to snap closed to attach the long strap is off also it doesn't close right. I may just be picky, if it is real is that normal for the bags or specifically factory bags?

I can't a good picture of the serial number, it says H1194-F18220, zippers say Ideal, there is a dot above Made in China on the inside manufacturer tag.
