Can someone tell me if this coach wristlet is real or fake? The blank leather patch inside is making me think that it is fake, but then I read wristlets normally don't have a serial number and/or creed.

It looks fake. I can't think of a reason Coach would put a blank leather patch inside a bag, but I see lots of fakes like that. I've never seen that lining on a Coach. It looks like something I've seen on fake Pradas.
It's absolutely and without a doubt fake.

If this wristlet is in a listing somewhere, please post a link and the seller's ID so we can report it.

I'm interested in this group of bags, please let me know if they seem legit and what
styles they are. Thank you!
Auction no:
171578959315
Seller name: sureboy75

I posted that in the Vintage Chat thread! They are authentic. Seller didn't provide measurements so names/style #s are my best guess. In order based on the group photo, first is a Nicholas drawstring #9946, second is probably a riding bag #9750, third is a Lightweights Gallery bag #4028. They are all from around 1989 to 1993.

Thank you, they are really cute and styles you don't see too often.
But I am a little concerned that the drawstring bag is missing those darned tabs on the ends of the strings; I hate that!
Going to think on it - I just spent a bunch on a big group so I have to be extra picky now.

You're welcome. I didn't notice that about the drawstring. I really need to be more observant!
Thanks so much!
You're welcome!

Just so you know, if you purchased from Goodwill through ebay, links are still clickable and viewable in the completed/sold listings for at least 90 days, and often for many more days.

If they're from Goodwill's online site, they're still viewable for a while though I don't know how long.

THAT I would have noticed!

To add a bit more information as to why we request what might seem like extraneous information for authentications, there are valid reasons.

When an item is listed online and only the pictures are posted, we don't know whether those pictures belong to the seller of the item being authenticated, whether the seller stole the pictures from another seller or whether the poster is submitting pictures that they believe to be the same style as what they have in their possession and want authenticated.

Additionally, in seeing the listing, we can look at the seller's other items, her history, her feedback and her reputation. In the Coach AT (authenticate this) section, we do often do more of a background check than other brand specialists and you get more bang for your (non) buck.

I can't tell you how many times we've been asked to authenticate something and the pictures in the listing were stolen from another seller's listing, or the pictures are all stolen stock pictures taken from Coach's website. In those cases, we might see an authentic bag but who knows what you'll receive if you buy the item.

Or we look at a listing of a fake from a seller who has a long history of selling fakes. We will comment on that.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say the website is supported by users. If it's the website itself you have an issue with, that needs to be taken up with admin.

In our defense, we ARE being helpful and the information requested of you isn't intended as a reprimand. (Other brands on TPF won't even respond to your question if the correct pictures aren't shown, if the pictures aren't well focused, if the listing has ended or if you don't participate in other parts of the forum other than using free authentication services.)

The services, advice and expertise offered her are given free of charge and on our own free time. We get absolutely no compensation or benefit -- not from TPF and not from any online site -- other than knowing that we can help prevent the sale of a fake, reassure a buyer that they got a genuine Coach or to help a seller fight a buyer who accused her of selling a fake when the item isn't fake.

We come here on our own time, fitting it in between jobs, family, homes, errands and "real life."

Again, comments made here aren't intended to insult anyone, but rather to try to point out why we ask what we ask for.

First of all I want to apologize for going on a rant because I took a comment personally when in all actuality it was meant to help. I am not making excuses but my dad was just diagnosed with terminal cancer...he is 58 (I am 37). I should have simply just said thank you. I did not know that I could still post the link for the goodwill auction after the bid was over and thought I saw it only because I had won the bid so thank you that makes things easier than saving photos and using an app to try and get them to combine into one photo to post. I hope Hyacinth see this post too and I do not want you to refrain from authenticating or commenting on my posts, I am sorry I snapped at u and basically threw a temper tantrum. I am a begginer (clearly) and thought I understood how everything worked and was wrong. I am giving most of the bags as gifts, keeping a few myself, and hoping to find some deals so that when I become more experienced, I can sell some of them someday. Again I am so sorry and am not really a crabby person, can we just chalk it up to a bad day and complete misunderstanding? Also u mentioned other areas of the sit beside the authentification, I have browsed the shopping section but will definitely browse some more. Again I apologize and thank you for offering your time up in this free service.

Hi there! Found a couple cute things at GW today.

Please authenticate. Thank you so much!

First up, green checkbook cover or maybe notebook holder? It's the size of a checkbook cover.

Second is a rose gold wristlet with rose gold hardware.
