So...Occasionally, and everyone does this, you use some of the same words because they are a good way to describe something in that product line -- plus -- if you aren't an expert at something....like me with purses.....I assume that others know the correct words. So, as long as my listing is different why can't I use the same words. Couldn't you consider it a compliment too? It's not like it's an essay in college, it's an Ebay listing. I guess it's how you look at it and how sensitive you are. ;)
I look at it as plagiarism..and downright laziness & dishonesty! Few things in this world belong to us..our ideas, our art,our voices & the way we communicate is VERY PERSONAL!!

Hope everyone is great.
I just received a bag I was looking forward to re-habbing and it came with another purse's strap. Nickel grommets for a brass hardware bag. :shucks:
Figured I should have the whole thing verified here since I missed it (listing pictures were meh and I wasn't sharp enough).
Any advice on what to say to the seller in addition to authentication will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm not comfortable with that creed. The font and stamping are completely different from another (different style) same month/year/plant bag.

Please wait for Whateve and/or Hyacinth.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!
Please don't be insulted. It's not intended as a personal attack. We're just pointing out why it's so upsetting when others use our work.

It's not unusual that new sellers think that if they find pictures or listings in a google search that those listings are their's to use but even those say "may be subject to copyright."

Usually, all it takes is a bit of education to help a seller understand our feelings. As you become more experienced and take the time to develop your "selling personality," you'll understand how disturbing it is when someone else likes your work enough to use it and claim it as their own.

Hope everyone is great.

Thanks!

How 'bout if you start with "THIS PURSE IS FAKE AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK !!!"

The inside pocket is completely wrong - none of the sections are the right size or in the right place, the font of the serial number is wrong, the strap grommets ARE silver-color, and I'm wondering if there's any stamp on the back of the buckle? Oh, the inside pocket zipper pull is wrong too. And the stitching on the top zipper pull is a mess. Why didn't you ask here before buying it?

Here's are pic of REAL ones

ETA - I just looked at your own photos of the fake - "solid brass" stamp on the buckle (now WHY did I have a feeling it might have one of those?), wavy inside pocket zipper, unfinished stitching around the top leather zipper pull, along with the other problems that can be seen in the actual listing.

The Legacy Zip 9966 is probably one of the 20 most faked classic Coach leather bags. NO ONE should buy one without having it authenticated here first unless the seller is completely trustworthy. And even then I'd probably do it anyway just to play it safe, because even the best and most honest sellers can make mistakes

Good evening ladies and gentlemen~!
Nice to see some guys here too...
Can I get some opinions on this Coach Legacy hobo?
Also, in the serial number prefix - is the "0" in M20 be a numeral or a letter?
THANKS~:smile1:

Hi ladies! I was just wondering if anyone would be able to authenticate these key fobs? I think they were almost all overseas exclusives, but I don't know what country they came from. Do any stand out as fake to you? Sorry for the large number of them. If the photos are too dark I can try again in daylight. Thanks in advance!!

All appear to be authentic although the only one I can identify with a style number is the cherry charm, style 92314.

Thank you for your reply BeenBurned! I actually have the cherry charm, style 92314. It's the one on the left in this photo. There are a few differences. The one on the left has overlapping cherries, lighter red signature fabric, and silver hardware. The one on the right has brass hardware and also has the cherry design on both sides rather than gold metallic painted leather on the back. Also, the cherries don't overlap at all on that one. It is also much thicker. Overall the quality of the one in question feels superior to the one that I already knew was authentic.
