The Patricia's Legacy was never made in Orange. OR bright Pink, or Lime Green or any of the other brights or other unusual colors that we've seen on fakes. And the fabric backing on zippers used in Coaches usually matches the leather. Any time a bag is an unusual color you've never seen it in before, HAVE IT AUTHENTICATED HERE.

Whatever steps you take need to be taken immediately, either through Paypal or through whatever credit card company funded the Paypal payment.

I just contacted a seller on Etsy with an identical orange Patricia. I advised her to come here to have her bag authenticated and explained to her that the bag was never made in that color. Hopefully, she will listen.

I went to file a claim and the seller is no longer a registered user. I called Ebay and they opened a claim and they are paying me back under the guarantee. I am staying away from orange bags for a while.

I'm glad you are getting your money back. Coach made some orange bags in the 90s. The ergos and the geometric both came in orange, and there are probably others as well. The recent remake of the Madison satchel comes in orange.

There is an identical orange Patricia on Etsy for $79.99. I informed both the seller and Etsy that is fake.

Now ebay sent me an email saying that I have to send it back to the seller at my expense. I called them and told them that is not happening they will resell it. They said on the 4th I can escalate the case and then ebay will send me a prepaid shipping label to send it to them as evidence and they will give me my money back. Has anyone done that before? Plus they do not care it is illegal to mail fakes.

Hi can someone look at this bag for me? I asked about it on one of the FB Coach forums to find out the color and there is a major question that it is not authentic. I have included the link to the auction and additional pictures. Thank you in advance :smile1:

Tetondeb confirmed it is a fake on the FB page.

I agree with Tetondeb, it's a REALLY bad fake. Hardware color is wrong, the leather color is wrong, the leather looks thin and cheap, the fabric on the zippers is the wrong color, the zipper is too short, the serial number font is wrong, the creed format is wrong, the strap buckle holes are wrong.

The Fake Numbers List warns that J4D- serial numbers should be checked. That bag is a fake and a mess.

Thank you. I thought it was only J8's that were fake. I should have had it checked before I paid but it is crazy holiday time and I was orange bag struck and didn't think about it. I contacted the seller to see if there is resolution to the problem since I can no longer do an Ebay claim and it is illegal to ship it back since it is a fake. If there is not a solution I will go through PayPal.

They are temporarily NARU while under investigation but can be selling again soon. I refuse to send it back for them to resell so I probably will lose the case.

There are mixed feelings toward ebay's allowing buyers to keep items because there are confirmed cases of buyers claiming fake for genuine items and getting to keep the item and the money.

I'd send them back and watch the listings for the bag to be relisted. Watch for the same bag to be listed possibly by another ID too.

Ebay claims I can escalate the case next week and they will send me prepaid postage to send it to their offices. I would feel better it going to them because they said they will destroy it. I had contacted the seller about silver paint on it that probably spilled when someone tried to make the hardware look better. They denied even seeing the big paint stains on it, it was not something you would miss so it is a possibility they will relist :-\

It's authentic. I don't think that is exactly what the seller means. I think it is a veiled threat that if you accuse him of selling a counterfeit, you had better be able to prove it. I'm always surprised at sellers that put negative stuff in their listings, like they are trying to scare away buyers.

I'm feeling bah humbug too! I've been bombarded with so many ads about sales that I've lost interest.
