It's a Handle Portfolio, style 5050, mid to late 1980s.

Yes, it's a 6850, probably from 1989-90.

The first letter of the serial number seems to be "L", but it is widely spaced from 6M. From the picture it looks like the creed might be printed instead of embossed, but maybe it is just bad lighting.? And does the color look like dark sage or could this be lime?

I don't see any problems with it. It looks like an L to me as well. The creed looks embossed to me. I don't think it is lime. Lime was only made in natural grain as far as I know. It might be sage.

This is why it's important not to report an item based on what the seller types as the serial number. Typos occur or in cases such as this, the seller misread it and didn't see the lightly embossed month code.

It's authentic. It's some type of polished cowhide wallet from approximately 2004-05-ish.

I know I probably should have requested authentication help before I bid, but the auction was about to end and everything looked good to me so I sprung for it. However, I would really appreciate a second opinion since I am no expert. Thank you :smile1:

It's a Devon Bag from before 1994. A previous owner has cut down the strap to less than half its original length. If you need a longer strap you need to keep looking.

It looks fine. I think the green is very similar to forest green, but slightly brighter.
