Could someone please authenticate this Coach bag?
From GW...
Approx. 12"w x 8"h x 5.5"d Straps drop 8.5" to rings.
Several on ebay are called Cricket Leather Satchels, 2008, 13601P...does this mean Pilot?
As always, thanks in advance!
It looks fine. P stands for pilot, and these were called Cricket satchels - I don't know the complete name.

I am wondering about two bags on ebay, both Stewardess Bags 9525 in British Tan. One looks like it might be authentic, the other looks suspicious, but I wanted to get the opinion of someone who knows better than me what she is looking at.

First One:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/161477860721?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

item #161477860721
seller: lacywl

I messaged the seller and asked for a photo of the creed, and received the photo I am attaching here.

Second One:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/131345508412?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

item#131345508412
seller: iamloved22

Could someone weigh in?
They both appear authentic. Which one did you think was suspicious and why? The first one is a Coach classic made in 2012. The leather might be lighter weight than the other one made in 2000.

ETA: did you see the first seller's negative? "Beautifully packaged!! Prompt delivery!"

I was pretty sure about the second one, but was nervous about the first one, because I wasn't familiar with that style number and wasn't 100% sure about the wording. I am still learning. Thanks for looking at them for me! Also, yes, I noticed that about the one seller's only negative feedback. So odd.

You're welcome!

Do my eyes deceive me, or am I really seeing an X in the creed where the month letter belongs?
Please explain! Thanks.

Vintage Coach Black Leather Handbag with Flap, Purchased in 80s, USA, VGC...

You do see an X. There is also an E factory code, but the bag says it was made in the US. It is fake.

The listing you've asked about has been removed but it's not the first time krandart has tried to unload that fake.

I'm not an expert authenticator like Whateve, but am a pretty well versed Coach shopper, and have to chime in -- I agree with her assessment, also I see that your creed shows a Coach outlet 'target' stamp, which along with everything else is additional reassurance. As a fan of that particular style & color, in my opinion you got quite a nice deal on that bag :-)

With that said - I personally have had at least two authentic Coach bags that had such smooth, finely grained leather & soft fuzzy insides that I also wasn't sure about it being leather. I had both authenticated here -- and also had my leather repair person check the leather for me. They checked using heat applied to a teeny tiny piece removed from the excess leather overage an inconspicuous inside seam, as vinyl will melt if heated. My bags checked out fine - they just had very finely grained, soft well kept leather!

Hope this helps!

Please, just let me say that yes I was wrong and that I apologize for not believing the people who were telling me that the bag was real leather. There is a thin stretchy layer peeling off the piping that I don't understand, but I think that it is real leather. Thank you all for convincing me of this. May I just mention that spiteful negative feedback and bickering about return shipping is not my style, but careful research and looking for valuable information in any way that I can is.

PS... the Mexican bags feel like plastic.
