I will comment that the seller, rmnstx65u3 did sell a very obvious fake Dooney.
I bought the brown one and just received it the other day. It's in like new condition. I have quite a few Coach bags that have very few characteristics that identify them as Coach; no brass hardware, flaps, dowels or turn locks, etc. This bag was pretty pricy when new, maybe someone wanted people to know it was a Coach product and customized it.
Yes it's fake. I don't think we realized that K3H creeds were fake until recently, probably after she made this post. I don't think she updates her blog on a regular basis.
People need to realize that they shouldn't rely on a source that isn't updated with the latest information.
I believe it is authentic. I have pictures of this bag both with and without the stamp in my files. I think it was made by Coach that way. I don't have an explanation as to why some have it and some don't. Maybe they changed the design halfway through the month or maybe they were all supposed to have the stamp but someone forgot. Unfortunately I don't have a catalog picture.

I think this is part of the Monterey collection. I have a Monterey flap in this color combo. Some came in suede as well. Somewhere on eBay there is a gorgeous dark green suede flap. You can find this on the wayback machine in 1999.

I just hope you're not expecting a Maroon color like it says in the title. The color is Rust, a bit darker than the shade in the photos but definitely NOT Maroon although it does have a tiny hint of red in the color. I have one and I love it, it's a perfect bag for Autumn and goes with all the colors of Fall and Halloween.
I can't give you any price information, but it's a hard style to find. They only made it in one color. One of Ebay's sellers has had a new one listed for quite a while, if you search Ebay for "Coach 9486" you'll get a better idea of the color.
