I'm sorry, it's fake. The creed shows a date of production about 6 years too early for the style. The font of the numbers matches other fakes I've seen.
Its Tabac..but I've always used it for my pencils so..now thats its rehabbed I think I'll just keep using it for my pencils..I'll never "get the lead out"
Thanks, Hyacinth! At first I thought I was color blind because I know what color maroon is but after checking it out using the zoom I realized that the maroon is the trim. It is an unusual color combination but it really is quite gorgeous. It really looks quite large in the picture. I am looking forward to it arriving. I hope the color is similar to the pictures shown. Today, I went out looking for a sweater in that color and had absolutely no luck at all. Lots of grays, blacks and teal so I guess the style gurus think that color isn't "in" right now.I just hope you're not expecting a Maroon color like it says in the title. The color is Rust, a bit darker than the shade in the photos but definitely NOT Maroon although it does have a tiny hint of red in the color. I have one and I love it, it's a perfect bag for Autumn and goes with all the colors of Fall and Halloween.
I can't give you any price information, but it's a hard style to find. They only made it in one color. One of Ebay's sellers has had a new one listed for quite a while, if you search Ebay for "Coach 9486" you'll get a better idea of the color.
There is nothing wrong with that bag. I don't believe you will be able to stop the return since ebay always believes buyers. However, you should be able to call ebay and ask them to remove the defect.I have a massive migraine, can someone help?
I just got a notice from eBay that a return was initiated, 'not as described' on a Sutton 9814 bag of mine that was purchased by a ZERO (gah) feedback buyer.
Here is their reason:
"Reason for return: It appears counterfeit or fake
Buyer comments: The stitching on either side of the bag which is reinforcing the shoulder straps looks very odd. I own 4 coach bags, and I've never seen this before."
(If anyone recalls this style, that 'very odd' way the straps are attached is part of the 'style'... )
Could someone please double-check my sanity -- err --- my bag.
