It's an authentic basic bag in what looks like burgundy with patina. I would be a little worried about the zipper catching on the fabric. I had a similar bag's zipper catch on the fabric, and since it was so old, it tore. A zipper replacement costs more than a new bag.

Approx. 9"w x 9.5"h x 2"d. Strap drops 23 to rings.
Looks like a 1997 Station Bag #5130, yes? My other Station Bags (and my sister's) have a non-adjustable, skinnier strap...suppose this is a replacement?

Coach alignment isn't always perfect. A few millimeters is nothing to worry about especially since the rest of the bag is correct.

A bag I gave my sister a long time ago. From a consignment shop in Atlanta, late 90s or 2000.
Monterey Hobo?
Black and the dimensions are (approximately):
12.75" across the top
12" top to bottom (flat)
5.25 side seam to side seam
41.5" strap, end to end.

Thanks for the advice about the zipper. Darn. Such a beautiful color. I guess I will keep on looking, which is one third the fun. The other 2 thirds are getting the bag and then making it look new again!
