2- NEVER use a hangtag to prove or disprove authenticity. Hangtags can be changed, swapped or replaced in less than 5 seconds and don't prove a thing except in very limited circumstances. That bag is a GENUINE Sonoma Tote and the hangtag is NOT the original one that came with the bag.

3 and 4 are also genuine.

I noticed that too! This one has a made in US creed so that helps prove that they modified the design after they realized that one rivet wasn't enough. I also find it interesting that the rivets are flat or slightly bumped up. I looked all over trying to find concave rivets to match the broken rivet on mine and finally had to settle for a flat rivet.

Thank you all for looking (Hyacinth, your expertise and generosity are appreciated as always). I need to do a little happy dance, because this was CHEAP. I don't understand how they set prices at Savers.
There are two rivets joining the strap, here are some extra pictures if that would be helpful.
