After posting, I went out for a while and came back to look at the seller's history.
I don't recommend bste3396 as she sold other fake Coaches too.
Someone else got ripped off when they bought this:

I figured. I've gotten pretty good at knowing my stuff, but I was rushing and didn't look closely. They are refunding my money though, so at least I'll only be out return shipping.
Can you see more than just a seller's feedback? How do you go about that? I appreciate your help.
Hi, I purchased a Coach bag from Tophatter a few days ago under the impression that authenticity is guaranteed. Well i received my bag today and i am very suspicious. The bag is question is a Peyton Signature Bennet Mini Satchel. Model No FF31461. The first thing that got my attention is the bag does not have the serial no patch inside, and i know some small bags dont have the patch but i have a black bag from Coach that is at least 2 times smaller than this one and it does have the patch. Also, the new bag has a tiny whitish "tag" that states MADE IN VIETNAM* coming from the inside seam of the purse and it just seems off lol. Could you guys please let me know if the bag is real or if it is fake because if it is fake of course i would like to return it and get my money back. I am posting pics of the new bag, along with my very old and worn black one beside it for size reference. Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated!!!

Also, for some reason my camera made the interior fabric look like it has a swirl/line print... thats not actually there, its a solid color print with no lines or anything

Second of all, NEVER compare details of one bag against another, especially when there's thirteen years difference between the two as there seems to be between yours. The ONLY time you can ever directly compare 2 bags is when they're the same exact style made in the same year and preferably in the same plant and month.
There are no "Rules" about which small bags get creed patches and which don't. It's entirely up to Coach and they've even been known to put patches in the full-price versions and no patches in the outlet version. Don't ever look for consistency from Coach, because there is none.
Did you look on Ebay for other bags in the same style? If you had, you would have seen that none of the others listed has a patch either. As for the small white "made in" tag, Coach has been using that type of tag for about 2 years now.
I don't see any problems with the bag you bought.

And please don't use Google when comparing or trying to self-authenticate bags! Always check Ebay first - there's no way to know if a bag that pops up on Google is real or fake, and your chances of finding any with photos of the creed patch are almost zero. The creed and serial number are most important details when authenticating a Coach, and chances of finding pictures of those details in Ebay listings are much better.

To go off of what Hyacinth said, this is a VERY recent factory store bag. (I remember drooling over it myself.) I don't see any problems with it. If a bag is smaller than a certain size they won't put a creed in there. For example, the wristlet you're comparing it to wouldn't have one if it were made today. Another example would be the dinky bag--it's a tiny bag small enough to be a wristlet if it weren't for the long strap. It had a creed in it, but a wristlet I bought earlier this summer that is about the same size doesn't have one.
Edit to add: You wouldn't find pictures of it online since it's a factory store bag. The store is only online for a day or two at a time, and email invite only.

It's a genuine Kristin Clutch, maybe Python Embossed. I don't think it's actually snakeskin or it would say so on the creed patch.
