1. Coach isn't perfect! At Coach's pricepoint, you aren't going to find the level of qualtiy and attention to detail aren't going to be what you see in Hermes, Chanel or LV.
2. There's no such thing as "usual Coach metal tags." Some bags are leather hangtags, some have metal, some have metal pave hangtags and some have no hangtags at all.

In addition, hangtags can be removed, replaced or simply changed for a different type if the owner of the bag doesn't like what came with the bag.

Something removable can't be used as the basis for determining authenticity.

Yes I will surely tell my friend that. I almost accuse someone of selling fake bag because of her opinion, luckily I found you guys. Now off I go to give the seller well deserved feedback :D

The bag is missing the hangtag if that is what she meant by "no usual coach metal tags". I've seen this style in person and it is very lightweight. You should be able to wash it and repair the stitching on the strap. My friend did said she has a similar bag, only differ in color. I sent her the link and she gave me notes about the stitches and coach hangtag and advise me to return it. But just like what you suggested and Beenburned said, those aren't enough proof that the bag is fake.

There are fake ponytail scarves but they aren't as common as fakes in the larger square versions as well as fake winter (wool/wool blend) ones.

It never hurts to verify authenticity when you aren't sure.

I recently sold a Coach Madison Sabrina (small version) 12937, in black and gold. The gal who purchased this bag (which I also included a matching wristlet for free) has just emailed telling me it is clearly fake, she has not had a "glazed" type of leather bag before. I am attaching 3 photos, I do have more if needed. Obviously, she has the bag. This bag was mint and she got a VERY GOOD deal on it. Can I ask for your assistance/help to ease her mind...and mine. THanks in advance

Oh so you are the lucky person who won it! I can't believe the price! It's authentic. I think what scared everyone away was the seller's description of it as small.

There's nothing wrong with the bag.

Is there something specific that makes her think it's fake?

Refer the buyer here and she can express her concerns and/or be reassured that she got an authentic bag.

Thank you Whateve,!! I saw her the day she was listed and have been watching her~really expecting the price to go way up.... You never know!! I'm surprised I got it sooo cheap ~Once in awhile, I catch a break!! I've gone SPECTATOR CRAZY the past year~And I've been coveting the spectator satchels!! I think you have a similar one?
The piping looks a little funky ~I'm not sure if thats why there is a closeup pic of the piping or??.anyway, I will keep you all posted at rehab & rescue..I've got that fake one,so If I need to I can replace the piping! Thanks again...ooooh I'm happy I WON!! CHEERS!! :snowballs::snowballs:SHERI
