Note that the first picture isn't the actual item. It appears to be a stock photo or a picture found on the internet but I can't find anything matching it.

Am I misreading the style number? I've tried 14900, 14990, 14890, 14880, and 14000 and can't find anything like it.

Most of what I found in this style have a border around the flap, something missing from yours. (There were some sans border trim.)

But another thing that concerns me is the style number. 1XXXX numbers are usually for a full sized bag.

The clutches I've found have 4XXXX numbers, more in line with Coach's numbering:

In living up to its reputation of ever-changing inconsistency, Coach is now making bags with creeds sans serial numbers and instead, with a small label sewn onto the interior with the style number. The label might be on an inside lining seam or it might be inside the pocket.

The chain detail on the first matches the chain on the clutch in question.

The round button has the "Coach" embossing rather than the clasp.

This bag was made around the same time and it also has the embossing on the round button rather than the clasp, but in both these cases, the clasps aren't plain metal.

Hi so the starting bid on this was 29.99 and so I bid. Now it is up to 202.50... What is this bag? It needs to be rehabbed, and it is going pretty high. What is the style of this bag? Is this a treasure that could go for hundreds? Please let me know as soon as you can! Thanks

It's a letter brief #5210. I don't know how desirable the style is but I haven't seen very many of them. I think the size appeals to a lot of buyers. There are only 2 bidders and you said you are one of them. So it seems to me that you are 50% responsible for the price going so high. The other bidder hasn't bid on any other items other than this one. Maybe they really want it!

Yes I was the other bidder. I started low and then put a higher max bid, probably thinking it would not go that high, and when it does I'm like oh my what is going on?? Yea I see the other bidder only has 17 feedbacks. She can have it I guess. I just want it as a good rehab!:) thank you whateve!
