The bag is authentic. It was made in 1999 so it doesn't seem odd that the dustbag and receipts could have misplaced.

The bag is currently on Coach.com for $288 USD - I don't believe it is available in Australia. If the bag is really in brand new condition, then compared to the current new price, it seems reasonable. I see a few minor scratches, and there appears to be a scrape on the side in picture 8. The seller has had a few unhappy buyers; actually 4 negatives seems quite high for a seller with a feedback of 159.

No it's not really a holiday. It seems to be something that tpf is promoting. Actually in the US there are recognized days that aren't actual Federal holidays. As you can see from these Wiki lists, National Handbag Day is missing.

In preparation for National Handbag Day, my sister and I went to GW yesterday...and scored 3 really nice Coach bags (with a $15 off coupon) for just under $35 for all.

Could someone please authenticate this one?
Coach Leatherware...approx. 10"w x 13"h x 6"d. Strap 20" to stitching on side tabs.
Maybe something from the Monterey Lightweights...early 90's? (I have a Monterey Hobo with similar styling.)
This one will be going to Seattle with my sister...would love to know name, age, style # if possible.

The name of the line was just "Lightweights", Monterey is the style name of one particular bag. This one looks like a Delancy Drawstring, style 4122 probably from 1992.

Neither bag is vintage so the seller is violating etsy's policies.
The second one doesn't have a clear picture of the creed for authenticating.
I have concerns about the first one. The creed picture is too blurry. The font and spacing might not match other creeds from this plant.
