I bet they thought it was fake because of the giant Coach symbol on the bottom and the unusual lining!

I have green. BB gave me some catalogs and as soon as I saw the pictures of the Bleeckers I knew I had to have one. I got the duffle first, then I found the large flap, which is even more gorgeous as it has the woven strap. That one is navy but both the navy and green are such muted colors, they almost look the same.

I found a Soho flap similar to yours once at Goodwill in lemon yellow. It was pretty cheap and the leather was so soft, but unfortunately it had ink stains. It really made me sad to leave that one behind, but it would have had to be dyed and that would have destroyed the softness.

Green! That's the other color I'm looking for, but it will have to wait now that I found these.

Would you use black rocks or Obenauf's on the Bleeker to help with some scratches?

Lemon yellow would be gorgeous in the Soho flap. Ink stains suck! I love the interior pockets in this bag.

Okay, I've got one I haven't seen before in my eBay browsing. (No hangtag with this one.)
Its dimensions are: 9''x9''x2''

Whomever stamped it was pretty heavy handed with the press. I took out the creed pocket in store with both this bag and the satchel I was carrying and they matched pretty closely. Stitching looks pretty good too. A name and when it was made would be awesome :smile1:
Thanks in advance!

It's a Scout Bag, style 9890 from around 1991

Thank you Hyacinth! I just saw you edit! Sage looks good!! I was wondering though, is the metropolitan brief in the lightweights collection? Or does it have the same heavy leather as the classic coach bag?? Thank you so much for your digging! I am more excited and intrigued to get it!! Would you like me to post pics here when I do? Thanks

No, it's not a Lightweight. I doubt if any briefcases were Lightweights, a thinner leather would be a bad idea in a working bag like that. And thanks, but I don't need photos, maybe someone else may want them. But since it's authentic it would be better to post them at the main Coach forum.

I just stumbled upon them. Usually they put Coach in the case. I thought I'd just see if I could find one that was misplaced. ..boy did I ever, I found all 3. Then to have the cashier say that they were out there because they are fake....d'oh! I've been looking for a red bag.

What color Bleeker duffel did you get?

Don't you just love it when you find a treasure (or treasureS) in with the fakes? As nuch as i hate that they sell fakes, often for big bucks, I've found some fantastic authentic items due to their not knowing or verifying the brands.

I'm still in shock! I'm going to give the swing pack to my Co-worker for National Handbag Day! I've heard her say she could never have a Coach bag as they are too expensive. I can't wait to see her face!

I've used Black rocks. I think either would work. If there are a lot of scratches, Leather Honey would do wonders. I had a really scratched Legacy wristlet that has very similar leather, and after using Leather Honey, it looked almost new. It was an amazing transformation. It does darken though.

OK, I'm going to go with Obenauf's. There are only a couple scratches. There is one tiny spot on the back too, but I think that will fade as well.
