Both look authentic. It's a shame about the strap. The original strap length for this bag is perfectly comfortable to carry. I bought two bags on my trip that had chopped straps - neither of which I noticed until I washed them.

The first one looks fine. The second one needs a creed picture in order to authenticate but I don't see any problems.

I think the bag is okay but the turqoise trim decoration isn't original to the bag.

Hi everyone, these are my own finds from the weekend:

The first one measures about 9 tall x 11.5 wide x almost 4 deep with a 21.5 inch strap drop on the last hole. If it is real are there any suggestions on getting that round circle off the back? (It looks like it was stored away with a giant can of green beans sitting on top of it Hahah) ;)

The second one measures about 11 tall x 9.5 across the bottom x 5 deep. The strap drop is 16 inches fully cynched up with each buckle in the first setting:

I don't feel good about either of them. The creed on the city bag is too puffy and the font doesn't match other creeds from the same plant and year. Does the back of the turnlock have grooves?

The second bag must be fake. The creed has anomalies and this style wasn't made until around 2000, so it is 6 years too early.

Thanks, whateve! Yeah, it's a shame about the straps, but the rest of the bag is lovely...both bags together were less than $25, so I'm ok with that :)
