Could someone please take a look at these three bags? The first one is from shopgoodwill, the other two in my possession. The official names and age are appreciated, too!

Number one: Coach Madison Sutton Satchel.
Seller: Goodwill Industries of South Central Wisconsin.
Link: http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=15620882

Number two: Penny Purse (I think)
Measures 9.5" x 6.5"

It's not a penny, it's her larger sister, pocket purse from 1998. The Sutton looks good. It was made in 1995.

The bag looks fine. This style is highly faked so it is a good idea to always get them authenticated. Those measurements are way off! Coach listed them at 12 x 9 x 3. Goodwill is probably measuring to the top of the strap. The serial number indicates the date and place of manufacture, and the style number, so several bags of different colors, but the same style, will have the same number.

Thanks so much!! Yeah they are not consistent with their measurements so I rarely rely on those, esp when it looks to scale in photos with mannequins, etc. I used to remember a lot more about the ##s but haven't shopped for vintage coach in a while. Thanks again :)

Hi,

Could someone please help authenticate this Coach?

I thought it was really cute, but I have never seen this style before.
Just wanted to make sure it was authentic before I started using it.

Puchased: Goodwill
Style Name: Unknown
Dimensions: 8.5" x 5"

Thanks so much.

Have you tried bathing it? Maybe it was treated with something? Also did you compare the pocket size to an authentic bag?

Didn't try bathing it but I did apply leather CPR, looks to be untreated and does not need a bath, it looks new.

The size, pockets and everything on down to the leather pull look authentic when compared to my other duffle. I did have a duffle from Hungary that was "stiff" also.

Then I would assume it was authentic. Maybe some Leather Honey would soften it up.

Thanks, will try that. So what you see says authentic?
Yes, I don't see any problems with it. You know the typical things to check: mismatched grommets, buckles stamped solid brass, etc. If you don't see anything wrong, then stiff leather probably just means it wasn't stored properly.

Hi experts! I'm not sure if this is the proper place to post, so if not, my apologies. I recently acquired this bag, and I'm almost positive that it is authentic, but I haven't been able to find out too much information about it. I believe it is called the Python Inlaid Op Art Julianne. The serial number is E0893-12987. Does anyone know what the production numbers might have been, and whether this bag would have ever made it to the outlets? If this is the wrong forum, could you direct me to a place where I might be able to find out a little more information about it? Thanks in advance for sharing all of your knowledge!

I'm no expert on this style, but I'm nearly positive that the creed should say something like made out of python snake, rather than cowhide.

Please see post #1 for the posting format and information we need to see.

Especially in cases like this, we need to see where you purchased the bag.
