Hi, I just purchased a basic City bag from a coach store; They did not have it in stock, and had just a couple vermillion left at all, so they had they had it mailed to me; I see it came from the Madison NY store.
When I received it, I noticed it had a bullseye in the upper right corner of the creed. I know I am not a Coach expert, but in looking at this forum I have seen that this appears to be from a Coach outlet possibly. When I called my closest Coach store who placed the order, they did not know, so called the NY store who said this is always the case with the Coach classics. Can anyone share their thoughts/knowledge on this? I would rather not pay full price on an outlet handbag if that is the case.
Thank you!!
You bought a boutique/full priced department store bag (as opposed to MFF) and if they charged you full price, they owe you a refund.Yes that is an outlet stamp. I don't believe that it is always the case with Coach classics. It would be difficult to prove since they don't usually stock them at FP stores. I'm pretty sure I've seen some at Macy's that didn't have the outlet stamp. I would complain if I were you. For some reason, there were many classic bags sent to the outlets in the last few months.
Here's a reveal that doesn't have the outlet stamp.

The bullseye means that the bag came from an outlet store and as such, the price was discounted.
You got an identical bag as you'd have received if it came from Macy's, Bloomies, or a full priced Coach store so you aren't getting a lesser quality item.
But again, the price would have been discounted and you shouldn't have had to pay full retail.
