Hyacinth are you strictly a Coach girl? Someone mentioned a few pages back Sesame Street. Are you an actress?

Whateve, does your daughter like the vintage bags like you or is she more of a modern bag girl? My daughter likes those huge bags you can put over your shoulder and tuck up under your arm. She's not even 5'3" so they swallow her up!

Beenburned is your pup in your avatar a Belgian Malinois?

I still have probably 6 or 8 fakes. Would you guys like me to post for your files? I think they would be considered pretty "good". They are all leather.

I really appreciate you all so much!

Not strictly Coach but the few other brands in my closet are casual and inexpensive like Vera Bradley, Kipling and LeSportsac. Plus one lonely LV.

I don't remember any Sesame Street reference, are you sure you don't mean Keeping Up Appearances? Sesame Street wasn't even on tv until I was old enough to vote so I never watched it. And no, I'm not an actress although my avatar is.

I have two daughters. The older one bought the $400 bag and a $200 wallet which started my Coach obsession. She is also tiny; not even 100 pounds. I have since bought her a few other Coach items but she has moved on to Longchamp and MK. She says she doesn't want to own too much of one brand. I think eventually she'll get a LV. She's about to start her first professional job so I'm wondering how that will affect her handbag choices. She doesn't like vintage. She is more of a follow-the-crowd, wear-conservative-colors and get what is popular type of girl. She just got married. Her husband likes things made in the US. When he graduated law school, I rehabbed a US made Coach briefcase for him.

My younger daughter is still in college. She doesn't like vintage either. I've gotten her several Coach bags and she has borrowed several more. She has several Poppy glams, a Poppy sequin backpack, a patent new Willis that I encouraged her to get so we could share it, and an ocelot hobo and several nylon backpacks from the outlet. One of my very first ebay purchases was a signature Madison Hailey that she took immediately. Currently she is borrowing my red Hailey, my magenta Isabelle, and my coral patent Audrey tote.

You are a good mother Whateve...I can't loan my bags nor shoes to my only daughter...she's just too hard on them. She doesn't care where she sits her bags, throws them around...she's totally irreverent. The same for shoes. The backs of my heels would come back all scratched and the leather with nicks in it...she's just awful. I love her but...well...I just can't loan her my things. It's even hard for me to give her a bag I'm ready to part with.

I've allowed my 16 year old daughter to borrow some of my bags, definitely not my favourites though, and I always make sure I get them back immediately after she's used them otherwise they would end up with the rest of her stuff, on the floor of her bedroom somewhere! Luckily her feet are smaller than mine and her taste in shoes and mine don't match, except for Ugg boots!

We were told she's shepherd, whippet and chow although we were asked if she was a dingo, a coyote, and any number of other wild animals. No one really knows the history. We found her at a no-kill shelter 14.5 years ago. Her pregnant mother had been rescued from a kill shelter and subsequently had 6 puppies.

By the time we found her, the other pups had been adopted out and she was the last one left. She was 7 weeks old and we had her until about 14 months ago when we had to make the most painful decision in our lives. We had to put her to sleep and I still miss her and cry for her daily.

I'm so sorry. It's never easy to lose a beloved and loyal companion. Sounds like she had a wonderful long life with you. We still get weepy over lost pets too. I hope happy memories of her will ease the pain in your heart.

Comments: hangtag looks imprinted

Thanks in advance! =)
Ideally, I'd like to see a better picture of the creed but I think the bag looks okay.

Beware that with sellers who handle the volume this one does often have problems with feedback and this seller is no different.

I suspect that the seller purchases her inventory by the truckload from department stores and much of it is returned and damaged items. That type of inventory needs to be accurately pictured and described or buyers aren't going to be happy.

Fuzzymummy - I know right? I think I have too many obsessions. I don't think I am obsessive compulsive, but who knows....maybe I am!!!

Beenburned - so sorry you lost a member of your family. She was beautiful and her color was just so striking I just had to comment on her.

Hyacinth - it was a PBS reference and Sesame Street was mentioned, so my brain with there! Ha! Ha!

Whateve, ZSP and Two.time.bags - I get around the borrowing by just gifting them to them (my daughter and daughter in law). I tell them if they ever are tired of them they can give them back to me and I would sell them, but they have never returned any. That way my attachment to the purse is severed. I do have attachment issues to my bags though. I only buy purses I like, so selling them is painful. All of us like our Ugg boots!!! Don't get me started on shoes and boots!!! That's a whole other forum. :smile1:

Hey everyone, I bought this Bridle Bucket bag for an amazing price but I forgot to get it authenticated first, sorry. It is in really good condition although a little flat from storage. Can someone let me know if it is genuine? Thanks. Also, does anyone have a catalogue image of it, I would appreciate it if you do. TIA

It's authentic. I don't have a catalog picture of it. There was also a satchel in the line, #6707. The line was made in at least four colors: black with nickel, camel with nickel, mahogany with brass, burgundy with nickel. I have the wallet in burgundy with nickel and I've never found a purse to match.

Thanks, whateve, burgundy sounds yummy! It's not a large as I thought but it's very roomy.

Comments: I was watching this item for a few month. Item has been sold. Need some assistance to authenticate the item, i thinked it is faked. I have never see the bag before, i am new also
Welcome to the purse forum!

Without a creed picture, the bag can't be authenticated. What about the bag makes you think it is fake? Just because you've never seen a style before doesn't make it fake. I don't see any problems with it. It appears to be style #5237. I don't have a catalog picture.

I have trouble denying my children anything! There are bags I won't let her borrow. Then I feel bad so I let her borrow others that I think are more sturdy. I'm more stingy with sharing my keychains. I think she takes better care of the bags she is borrowing than the ones I've given her because she knows I'll be upset if they get damaged. She'll bring home her bags for me to clean, and sometimes they are in horrible shape! When she had ink all over the inside of her Poppy glam, I asked why she didn't put pens in a case so they didn't write all over the bag. She acted like that had never occurred to her. So then I gave her my pen case.

Her sequin Poppy backpack, which was the most expensive thing I bought her, is still in fantastic shape. She's never lost one sequin. She gets more use out of the bags than I do. I have so many that none get used much, and I don't go many places, while she is always on the go. I feel good that the bags are getting used.

My daughter's feet are tiny so we can't share shoes. She has several pairs of Coach shoes too. She doesn't share my Uggs obsession. Up until about a year ago, we shared jeans. That was nice because it was like we each had twice as many pairs of pants.

My older daughter lives too far away to share. She doesn't have the same taste as me and my younger daughter. My younger daughter and I like a lot of the same things, except for vintage.
